Just got a Toyota Landcruiser and it desperately needed some bass. For starters, got rid of the stock 6" 'subwoofer'. It's a shame to even call such a thing a subwoofer. Anyways, the JL 8.1 microsub is driven by an old Rockford Fosgate Punch 150 amp. Too much power for the 8.1, but this sub really puts out the bass for $199. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to spend a bit more than a Bazooka because you'll get more and cleaner bass.

I think that this is a great sub. It is very small, I didn't want some box that filled the entire back seat, and it produces great solid bass. I have only used it for about a week, but so far I love it and recomend it to anyone who doesn't have lots of space, or someone who doesn't want to loose all of their space, but still have great bass.
