Strength:

THIS HAS THE CLEAREST BASS SOUND THAT I HAVE HEARD OUT OF A SUB. I PAYED $200 FOR TWO OF THESE SUBS AND A SEALED BOX. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GREAT SQ SOUND, THIS IS THE WAY TO GO.

Weakness:

IF THESE COULD TAKE ABOUT 100 MORE WATTS OF RMS, I WOULD BUY THEM OVER ANY MTX THUNDER OR ROCKFORD FOSGATE.

IF YOU ARE LOW ON MONEY AND WANT A REALLY GOOD SUB, THIS IS THE WAY TO GO. ONE THING THOUGH, DON'T USE ANY OTHER BOX ACCEPT A SEALED ONE. IF YU USE ANYTHING ELSE, YOU WON'T BE USING ITS' FULL POTENTIAL.

Strength:

Good looking, decently clear, very musical sub (except on most rap).

Weakness:

Not deep

One of the nicest looking subs out there, but I expected a little more low bass from a Kenwood subwoofer. If you listen to organ, classical, or country, one of these subs is probably good for you. I would recommend putting this sub in a little smaller than recommended box because if you try to make the box bigger it still won`t go deeper it will just sound like crap. You can also overpower this sub if you want to it is very hard to blow. If you blow it, or any other decent - high quality sub or amp, and don`t want to waste time or money sending it in to get fixed email me at brandon@audiosalvage.com, and I~ll buy it.

Model Reviewed: 93 Dodge Dakota ext cab

Strength:

Great Price! At two 12" for $100, you can't get much better than that.

Weakness:

You MUST have a ported or bandpass enclosure. These boxes don't come very cheap and tend to be significantly larger than most boxes. You'll need to measure your ride before purchasing.

Fortunately, i had a friend who just had a dual 12" ported enclosure that was just gathering dust in his garage. This saved me at least 50 to 150 dollars for a new bandpass box.
I'm a big techno and rap listener, and i found the Kenwood's
to be a great set of subs for a first time buyer. I
placed the subs right behind my seats in a 93 Dodge Dakota extended cab and i thought they were pretty loud. So in conclusion, only buy these subs if you have easy access to a large ported box, otherwise you're liable to pay more than you expected.

Strength:

the kenwood 3002 is a well slick, mean subwoofer speeker. it has a massive 12inc cone and gives out a woppin 500w Max.
I have 2 of these in my car and believe me it hurts your back!

Weakness:

you need pritty big boxies to house these momma's. so if you have a small boot then forget it. (this ones for the big boys!)

Deffently go for this model. if you have the room to house them in your car then go for it. if not "Ha Ha". Have 2 of em as well. that extra 1 pushes the thudd right over the edge, and gives you the edge you are lookin for.
£55 (english Pounds) = a well sorted price!

Strength:

Good Bass

Weakness:

Big and the stuffs that you have to get in order to use it.

I got this for $100 a pair from circuitcity, I end up have to spend another $170 to get the Dual-sub bandpass box. That seem to be the only thing that work well with these subs. After all that, they got a pretty good kick (note that i use one of sony Xplod XM-2252HX amp 255W x 2). Good for people who have some money left to burn.
