these are the best 15" 8ohm subs i have ever bought i have pounded them to death ind thay keep on going i have 4 of these in mt mini van with supper boxs these boxes have rap around ports in them and are very large so i could get the max out of my subs and the reason why i whent with the 8ohm speakers is so i could run 2 in paralle and grt 4ohms on each amp per set of subs and would not stress my amp out and i could run for hours and my amp runs supper cool i would tell any one to get these subs or the newer ones bot do get 8ohms so you can pound for hours and not heat your amp up just go with a higher watt amp cause your not breaking the ohm load down to a 2ohm load you will run at or around 4.3ohms LONG LIVE KICKER SUBS LIVEING LOUD ;)..
