Strength:

Amazing bass, heavy duty cone with dual stitching, little power consumption, heavy duty Still Water design.

Weakness:

None that I know of.

I have owned a pair of these since 2000 Christmas, and I have not been disappointed since. I original had them in a car sub encloser for 7 years and put the in the back seat of my 2002 Z28 for a while, and it was just to much. Last year i bought a set of JBL Scoop speakers, unloaded, off Ebay. Ever since then, these 500 watt, 8 ohm subs have rocked like no other.

Strength:

500 watts or real handling power heavy magnet well cooled long voice coil strong cone

Weakness:

I would say if i worked at kicker i would have made the surround larger, cuase this thing can move. I see no weaknesses, go to kickers web site to see many cars with thse installed in it

This is one of the greatest 15" subwoofers i have ever heard. Imatched it up with a JL 500/1 and it pounded. I am going to purchase a Rockford Fosgate 501s for it. I traded my 3 jl 10w0 for the sub. I am currenlt using a 2" mdf sealed enclosure and i have nothing bad to say about it.

sound quality not to great...went to 2 JL 15" W0''s, and the power handling, sound quality and spl was overwhelmingly better

Strength:

Built great, run great, sound great, cost is cheap and Kicker has a AWESOME costumer line for Q''s & a''s.

Weakness:

Havnt had any..Greatly satisfied.

These are some bad ass subs. I used to be a big Rockford guy, and Memphs guy but man...Kicker blew them ouuta the water. 1 15" was louder than two HX2''s that had twice the power than the kicker. I recomend these subs to any BASS HEAD and seriouse competitors! Trophys will be flying in. I hit 158.9 with oe with 600watts!!

Strength:

This amp will handle more than a little bit of power, 750 watts RMS. While testing this sub, i found it to be very outstanding (like it's brother, c12). I installed four of these in my 87 Chevy Astro Van, with 1 Memphis st-1000D amp. The amp Heated up while the Subs stayed super cool. I got 165.2 DB on the Mic meter. These are great subs for any system.

Weakness:

I found no flaws with these sunz.

As stated before, they are great subz and will beat in any system. Well worth the price.

Similar Products Used:

These subz are the equivalent to the MTX 5000, only they handle more power and have more output.
