Strength:

Very low price(got them on sale) also very efficent subs and sounded amazingly good for the price range

Weakness:

These subs really work best with a large box(the box i had them in was around 5 cubic feet. if you don't have room for a massive box consider something else

These sub are great for the money. I had a pair of them on a punch 225.2 in a buick regal and i loved the low bass they put out. plus they are very efficent subs. I have had several other more expensive sub before and i must say these were the best bang for the buck i've ever had.

Strength:

its big

Weakness:

too big for a sub that doesn't hit loud or hard.

this sub wasn't even worth the 40 bucks. whats the point of a 175 watt 15"?
distorts badly!

Model Reviewed: I15 Kicker Impulse

Strength:

Has good low frequency extension, hits pretty hard in a small vented inclosure around 2.2 cu.ft. with a 3"x5" long port centered and a f3 of 32hz.

Weakness:

No power handling for a large sub.

For the price they hit pretty hard, but they are awful large for the little amount of bass punch they emit.Allot of it is due to the fact that the maximum excursion is a mere 7.2 mm that also limits power handling.
I am pushing on of the fifteens with an old coustic 380 about 250w@4 ohms mono.It makes jump , but the damping factor of the amplifier isn't allowing cone control and that is important when increased mass of a fifteen inch woofer cone is involved.

It doesn't come close to my 10" jl audio w1's which is a pretty good comparo because they are at the the same price level, but all in all the pair of tens that I hve kick the livin $$$$ out the kicker pair of fifteens.
