Strength:

small, powerfull, hitts like two 12's, Just go buy one, you'll see!!!

Weakness:

I heard they take about a month or so to brake in, so that means they will even hitt harder!!! not really a weakness, And I haven't heard them sence I installed them.

Unbeliveable!!! I never seen a 10inch sub hitt like this before!!! This is the best part, IN A SEALED BOX!!! And its not my sup. I hooked it up for a friend. WE have the 10inch(only one 10) pushed buy a 601s RF punch and could maybe push another 10 with that amp. 10inch 600watts RMS and Kicks A$$. It hitts soo hard that his lights blinks like strobe lights. He has a Toyota PerRunner supercab, So he dosn't have very much space. But that one 10inch in that little ole box (that came w/ the speaker) fitts with enough room to still put two people in the back still. If you want the sound of two 12inch subs but don't have the space go and buy this speaker. Hell on it go buy it anyway if u got the money, Its worth every penny. I promise you, you will be writting us back soon!!!

Strength:

Can handle loads of power, lots of DB with good SQ too. Sub is cheap.

Weakness:

Takes up 1/3 of trunk (don't get a sealed box), needs lots of power.

My sister's car is currently running it with a Kicker KX600.1. I haven't noticed any burning of the coils yet. Didn't really think that the sub could handle that much power but it did and still is. Kicker rates the sub at 450rms, the amp is 710rms. I have it in a 3 cu. ft. ported box. I'm sure if I were to get a better headunit, one with a 4volt preout, it would be a little bit louder. I had that amp running my 12L7, but then I got a bd1000.a for the 12. 4 stars for value because you need powerful amp and fair amount of trunk space.

Strength:

Hard, deep bass for a 10". You only need one. Highly flexible requirement. One 10" blows away 2 12" speakers. Undoubtedly the best bang for your buck!!!

Weakness:

Neighbors will complain. Your boss with 4 Sony Xplod 12" subs will hate you. You'll need to carry a bottle of Advil wherever you go. Oh.... I thought we were talking Pros and Cons, but weaknesses....HAHHHHH!

I bought this sub after I heard two L5 10" subs in a pickup truck. You could not sit in the front seat or it would make you hard of breathing, make your eyes separate, arms start going numb and finally make you puke. I have a BMW 525i, so I custom made a box using Kicker's own "street bass" specs, a 1.75 cu.ft. box with a 11 1/2" by 2 3/4" port, both firing right through the armrest hole (sometimes called golf compartment) in the middle of the rear seat. Fits perfect. I have JBL PowerValve BP600.1 600 watt Class D amp. This motherF***er hits so hard, it makes my whole neighborhood complain that it's making their windows rattle almost a football field away...all from one 10"!!! Best of all, if wired correctly, you cannot blow it!

Now first off, these subs are the first subs I have ever owned. However, I have listened to many different subs that were owned by friends of mine. I’m running 2 S10L7 subs off of a Kicker ZR360 amp wired in mono. This probably isn’t enough power for the two but it is all I can afford. As a daily driver, these subs sound great. Playing them at normal listening levels, the bass hits hard and true. Once you turn them up to maximum volume (yes, it is almost defining) they have a little trouble keeping up. This is probably because they are underpowered or it could be distortion from the head unit at full volume. One great thing about these subs is the amount of space they require. If you are trying to conserve your trunk space, one Kicker S10L7 needs only .66 cubic feet of airspace for a sealed enclosure. That is hardly big enough to fit around the HUGE magnet!!! I would recommend these subs to anyone that has the money to purchase an amp that will give them all the power they need. Kicker rates the subs as being able to handle a max of 600 watts RMS and 1200 watts peak. So if you have an amp that will power them, buy these subs, you won’t be disappointed.

Strength:

my plain jane Suzuki Esteem dont need no gay looking effects or a tail pipe that sounds like a crappy 63VW bug. This car is so suspiciously boring I wanted something to take my mind off of it. the Kickers did that job just fine. Want SQ? want hard hitting subs that rival several 12's? These were well worth the $1200 I spent on the subs and amp. Now thats a bargain!

Weakness:

close your mouth and open your ears. these things should be illegal. Let me also clarify that the most IMPORTANT part of a system may be the BOX design. No complaints!!

It seems that these subs have more surface area than a round design. See, I thought I had four 12's in my trunk, what with the centered 48hz coming in at around 135 db. (my engineering buddy tested them.) Oh yeah, then I realized I have only 2 L7's in a sealed box nearly 1 cu. ft. apiece. I love the ease of use, the materials such as the tough as nails cone, the incredible strenght-basket, and youll need it cause with the amp Im using, a Fosgate Power 1000bd, which is 500 w. @ 4 ohms, this sub does funny things to my body and car. I cant wait to put one of the little truck boxes into my 99 Ranger!

Huge sound for such a small sub, beats almost any 2 12's

Weakness:

Makes my ears bleed!

Super sub. In a small town, hits harder alone than anyone else's subs. Running it with a Profile cl600m 450x1 @ 2 ohms in a small sealed box, shakes the dust offa my car. Definitely worth the money.

Outstanding, quick and low bass response. Power hungary, so you can drive the heck out of them. Even at loud volumes the cone barely even moves.

Weakness:

Not a thing!!!

OH MY GOD!!! I have one SL107 on a Planet Audio 300.2 (bridged) 600w, in a relatively small sealed box (down-firing) under the back seat in an ex-cab chevrolet pickup. This thing pounds, everyone thinks I have to 15''s. I haven''t found a sub that performs like this for under $600. I will soon add an additional solo in my truck. Look Out!!!

Man does these subs pound or what. Kicker is the best. I own eight S10L74 powered by two ZR1000s. You want to talk about blowing away the competition. There is not greater feeling than to pull up beside somebody that is jammin their system then turn my own. I just love to watch their jaw drop with amazement. I would not own anything else but I need money to pay for college so I am selling my $5000 system for $2500 with free shipping. If you are interested in it email me at dachis01@athena.louisville.edu
