Yea right!!!!!

If you are looking for bass but don't have much room, this is your woofer. I have one of these in a 1 cu. ft. ported enclosure installed behind the seat in my 2000 S10 regular cab (no legroom loss). I am bridging the rear channels on a Fosgate 800a4 Power amp to run the speaker. Simply put, I couldn't believe the tight, deep bass I got from this speaker. I listen to a variety of music, from Warrant to Godsmack to Queen, no Puff Daddy on my my radio, and this speaker sounds incredible. Just to test the speaker I tried a friends cd (rap, but I don't know who) and it hit really hard. He was shocked. I would recommend this speaker to anyone.

It produces great clean crisp bass throught the high and low frequencies, and the the enclosure is the size of a large cerial box.

Although it does give clean, deep, fast bass; the only thing lacking (in the 8" at least), is the ability to get really loud. But thats not why i bought it anyway.

clean, deep, fast, these all describe the kicker s8l7 subwoofer. I built a costum box according to the minimum air volume kicker suggests (.33cuft), to go behind my seat in my regular cab silverado.

I had a 12" alumasub in a giant ported box in my mustang, the 12" was louder, but the 8 is 10 times cleaner...(note: same head unit & amp used for both 8" & 12")

Power handling, durablility, wide reproduction range, and overall great transducer.

price - although hard to justify, I think this is better than many pairs of subs.

I don't own this sub, but I do compete, and was so impressed when I heard it I had to write a review. I am not even a fan of subs. I just one of these subs in a standard cab Chev S10. It hit just over 139db. This is in the recomended ported enclosure, and the guy has a 600watt alpine amp pushing it. I have heard good set-ups with two twelves that did not hit this hard.
