Nice design and appearance, good sound

Weakness:

Terminals, crossover points are not my choosing

Hello,

I bought a pair of these for my Fiance's 2001 Saturn SC-1 door OEM replacement after getting a Kenwood MP3 receiver.
They are much louder and cleaner than OEM 6.5" paper Whizzer cone drivers that come in GM cars door and rear deck.
They are not especially high end, but for about $30, they are a really nice improvement over OEM. The mids are somewhat brassy, Decent Bass response for Hip-Hop and House, not anywhere near an 8" sub though. They Highs are loud, but not painfully over-bearing. Sounds like they are paper cones with Mica reinforcement, sound loud, but not distorted as intended by using those materials in the cone. They built in crossover lacks very much definition for seperation to the three drivers, so that would be my biggest audio complaint on this speaker. The terminals feel somewhat generic, the rubber boot on the magnet is a nice touch if installing near a door window. These went into the door position and happy with installing them, would buy again for same $25-$30 price or lower. Hope that this helps, Lots of places sell this speaker, it is very common to find selling, but nobody ever writes a review about them, so here it is!
