Model Reviewed: M3 10"

Strength:

Removable magnet and cartridge assembly. Kelvar cone! LOUD, hits HARD, good sound quality! I listen to blues and sometimes rap, plays it all and much better than my type r's. Can't beat it for the price.

Weakness:

It's orange, i could get it in gold plate but costs more.

Let's just say I had some Alpine Type R 10" that I got for $180. These things demolish them at the wattage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used a Mclass 1000D on the Alpines and when I switched to the M3's they were louder AND sounded BETTER in SQ--can't beat paper cone for sq!!!! Memphis amps are SOLID, period. And now the Memphis woofer is superior, didn't know why I didn't go with memphis subs in the first place...bye bye Alpine.

The type R's were in a .8 cuft sealed box receiving the 1000d, so about 500 watts RMS each 10. The M3's are in the same box with the same amp, plays more than twice the volume of bass and hits like 4 type r's.

Similar Products Used:

Alpine type R. R for rudimentary. No more Jap crap products for me. Don't waste your money on Alpine, you're paying too much for their hype like Audiobahn. Pay for a company who has been in business longer and knows more than putting money into bling and style. Buy speakers so you can listen to them not look at them.
