One of the first things you'll notice about the new Blue Thunder Amplifiers is how cool they look. you see, we have quite a legend to uphold in these products.
AutoSound Grand Prix Product of the Year for 6 consecutive years. Dominance in car audio competitions (Blue Thunder has been the amp of choice in the MTX ThunderForce Mustang, that tours the country on a "trophy round-up" in IASCA competitions).

One of the first things you'll notice about the new Blue Thunder Legend Subwoofers is how cool they look(have we heard that before?). Our engineers went to the drawing board (that's just an expression, you know - there's really no "board"...it's a state-of-the art rendering program...but we digress) and came up with one of the most unusual, high-tech design around. The cone is a "propellar-shape" (how ironic,
remember we called our R&D guys propeller heads?) with tinted gray polypropylene material.

OK. Let's face it. You choose a subwoofer for bass.
Low, deep bass that'll rip your face off if you get too close. With construction that's durable and rugged.
This is what you get with the Blue Thunder Extreme subwofers. These monsters are a true High SPL Subwoofer constructed out of die-cast aluminum, for extreme durability and ruggedness.

The Blue Thunder Legend Enclosures are small, but make the music sound huge. They're loaded with the BT Legend subwoofers with all the techie-goodies like Asymmetrical Linear Drive, large magnets, and 4-layer voice coils.

Strength:

Don't take alot of space, can take a HUGE hit, pretty cheap, looks kinda cool.

Weakness:

Sounds like s*$t when you give them TOO much power, clarity not too good, and your neighbors won't like them...

These subs are some of the toughest little woofers I've ever heard. I had these 8"s on a 700 watt amp and they pounded for 7 months! My friends could hear me coming from way down the road, and they couldn't believe I was bumpin 2 8"s in a BANDPASS! If I were to buy another set, I'd put them in a dual regular sized ported box. If you are into bone crushing bass from a woofer that won't take up too much space in your car, and too much space in your wallet, then get a pair of these f#*@%rs!

louder than 'Fosgate DVC 10"s, but don't sound as good.
