Strength:

The Premier Subs took one hell of a beating for 3 years before I finally burnt a coil. I hit 143.3dB in the local comp with them, they were pretty good

Weakness:

Burnt a coil, more for quality than SPL

I would recommend the Premiers for people just starting to compete and can't afford much else. For now, I'm looking into CV 18 strokers or perhaps Juggernauts cause I hate gettin my ass beat at the comps

Strength:

This sub is an incredibly efficienty sub when fired off a window. It will go high; it will drop really low. This sub out performed all of my expectations. Few subs can hit the notes that the TSW-1240C can. It has a huge frequency range that is very clean and precise.

Weakness:

um...hmmm...it was stolen...

$300, worth every penny! I'm planning on buying one now and maybe adding one or more later on for SPL purposes.

I've had all of the following subs hooked in the same spot in my Datsun aiming off the window and the Pioneer out performs all of them over-all. Sure a few them were louder but definitly not better.

Strength:

High wattage (800w), high sound range (15~2000Hz), good quality, it doesn't suck..

Weakness:

uhhh... has a good chance of getting stolen cuz its so grat

This is a nice speaker. Pretty well shielded magnet... considering its 50 ounces! and thats 50 ounces of pure clean sound, not distorted cr*p(can I say that word?). Has a very nice range of sound 14~2000 hz (wow). This speaker will do some really high bass. Also, its made for small boxes... like 1.1 cu ft, so it won't take up much room. I'm probably making yall sick by showing i got it for $75, but flee markets are always great buys. Brand new, hopefully not stolen.... NICE SUB!
