Strength:

Excellent bass response

Weakness:

Needs to handle more power

These speakers are the best of Pioneer that i have ever heard. Forget the IMPP models, this is one of the loudest i have heard. It gives me a full body massage from a 500 watt amp...

Strength:

It fluckin rocks!

Weakness:

The only thing I dont really like about the sub is the fact that it "bottoms out" a little easily. I dont know if it''s because i messed them up or what but hey they still rock like hell...If anyone knows why they bottom out, tell me Djrameo@yahoo.com

Mannn....these sub have got to be the absolute shiznit! I have heard my boy''s car with three JL 12''s (W6) with an Audiobahn amp...and I think I bump alittle harder than him. I have a GM-X942 hooked up to them and mann...it hits. Lovely speakers. I just wish I could find another pair from somewhere, but nowhere in Chicago sells them anymore.

Strength:

These subs hit harder than any other sub. i can push alot watts to them and they dont even have any distortion at all.

Weakness:

None seen yet.

I have 2 12 inch premier DVC's and im pushing them with the premier prs-x340 amp and they pound better than most people in my area with no distortion at all.

Strength:

Nice clear deep bass, rubber surrounding not like the old foam stuff, huge magnet, gold wire connectors, soulds really clear and very bassiii

Weakness:

Power rating should be higher from 200rms to at least 300rms and higher. starts to distort abit at high levels

I would recommend these woofers to anyone who can afford it. These are the only subwwofers I would recommend from pioneer as all the other subs made from Pioneer are really not worth buying except for these bullet subs. Pioneer have spent time in remaking these woofers so try them out. And also they are as loud as the Kicker comp vr with handles 400rms.

Similar Products Used:

tested with 12" kicker comp vr. Kicker comp vr was only better in thumping hard hitting bass and it would produce nice clear deep bass.

Strength:

nice response low bass, small box, nice rubber surround large voice coil and very easy to install.

Weakness:

give it alot of power it distorts, that the only problem I've found out. so far. Im so to it now Im going to change it soon

It loud bassy and value for the top range in pioneer in Australia. depends what music you play and type of box you use. I like it for it looks tight base good construction. Get 3 of these and it blow your mind away it good but it need more power and the new model I think will produce more bass then the old model.

Strength:

This sub hits hard with even not awhole lot of watts. I only got about 220 watts rms pushing it and it still hits hard and sounds great !!!

Weakness:

none but i have only owned it for less then a month now

For the cost and the set up i have i cant believe how good this sounds. I have a complete pioneer system pretty much except for one of my amps which is a denon. I only have this one because it is a class A ciruit which for those who knows is an amazing sounding amp. Well i would tell anyone to buy this sub who wants clean tight deep bass.

Strength:

so many, feed them power and they will take it, all i have ever done is deliver mad amounts of power and they just keep on beating away

Weakness:

havent found ne yet

i bought mine almost 2 years ago and i have a PPI PC2600.2. i have them bridged at 2 ohms and they are getting about 600 watts each, and they pound away, im about to get the new premier TS-12PRS and put those in and see how they do, but these are definatly a great buy. I think you get more boom for your money. I paid $125 for each, that was brand new out the box.

they are almost close to RF 12" Power DVC, one 12 will beat the hell out of ne pair of 10's

Strength:

Great Bass out of a small set-up

Weakness:

haven't seen any yet

Hell Yeah I would recommend it. This is the best single 12" set-up I have seen in a long time. Great sounding bass at a relativly low cost. Have mine hooked up to a mtx 2100, pushing about 350 RMS to a speaker that is only supposed to take 200 and it loves it. The harder I push it the better it sounds. Absolutly amazing sound out of a 12" sub. I can't wait to get another one, and at $200 they are not hard to afford.

Awesome!! There's no other words to describe this thing. The features are awesome; which include lead wires into the spider, nickel-coated cone, etc.Classical music listeners and SQ freaks might think this speaker to be a touch boomy. However, if your into just raw, intestine shaking, ground pounding bass (like myself) you will absolutely love this speaker. I have a PPI PC2150 bridged mono into 4 ohms (which pushes around 700 watts RMS) and my two Premiers(which are rated at 200 watts RMS each) just eat the power and push extra SPL with every watt I can possibly throw at them. And at $200, their the buy of the decade.

Strength:

Huge bang for the buck.. handles all the power, small box reccommended.. Great construction. Great space saver. alot of FELT bass. Full body massage!!

Weakness:

Distorts a little with high power and a low frequency..

Great sub for the price. had an Art Series a200.2 ppi brideged to 4 ohms pushing the 2 12's.. definetly a sealed box..big sound in a hatchback..they handled ALL the juice i put to them...great low frequency bass, just dont go any lower than 50hz and they'll sound perfect..i had them for 2 1/2 years and still sounded GREAT after all the abuse i put them through..ect. 4 hour drives, bass test c.d's...
