Strength:

Good power handling (500watts). High spl (159.7). Low response (15hz-2000hz). Small enclosure (1.1 Cu. Ft.)

Weakness:

None that I can find.

People say that Pioneer can't compete in the subwoofer category. Those people never heard these subs. I have two of them. They are wired at 2ohms and running off a Pioneer PRS-X720. Each sub gets 484 watts (tested). They hit incredibly hard, 159.7 db on an spl meter. And incredibly low, there rated at 15hz but were tested to 13hz. I use the subs more for quality than for hitting hard, but I know that if I turn up the levels they will hit as hard as anyhing out there.

Similar Products Used:

Various MTX, Rockford, Kicker, JL Audio 12 inch subs. None can compare to the Pioneer's
