Strength:

Hits so hard that if i have an empty stomach i get a stomach ache! People can hear me 18 seconds before they see me! (and i only have 2 of them!!
They are also very well built.

Weakness:

One won't satisfy my craving, it takes two of these puppys to get the job done. (or viberate and rattle every article on my car)

I paid 100$'s for 2 of these bad ass mofo's! They totally rock me!!! I highly recomend these to anyone who wants to feel their music or make it sound like the music artist is having a concert in their car. They are great!

They will kill any 10. I'd say that one of these sounds more like 4 10's.

Strength:

Very low bass extension...
Decent transient response
Looks really cool...
Better than similar junk from Kenwood, Sony etc...

Weakness:

Limited SPL when compared to other subs of same price
Lowish Power Handling
Slightly Boomy Response (+1.5 db hump @ 50-70 Hz) before rolling off. (Amplified considerably by car interior)

An O.K. sub for the cost but definetly not the best i've ever heard. Of all the subs I've compared it extends by far the lowest (frequency response wise...) in a 1.25 cu ft box. I currently have one sub in a 2.5 cu ft ported to 22Hz. It extends rediculously low, out of car response is -3db at 27 Hz! I wouldn't recommend this configuration, however, with cabin gain factored in this sub has ~10 db MORE spl at 20-25 Hz then at 60 Hz. It becomes more of a headache than anything considering you cannot hear 25 Hz very well...but can definetly feel it :)
A sealed box of 1.25 cu ft yields impressive extension and smoother response then my current exagerated configuration and takes up half the space.
I wouldn't recommend it to those looking for very smooth response, it is a tad bit boomy and not as tight as other subs of the same price range.

Construction is pretty good, it certainly looks neat anyhow. This sub will handle somewhat more power than it is rated and is damn near impossible to bottom out, unless you box is garbage or you are putting an obscene amount of power to it...excursion is also a bit conservativly rated when played at not too offsensive levels of distortion, I measured a peak-peak excursion of ~0.45 inches at a moderate amount of compression. Of course there are always some people who manage to blow up any speaker, probally the same people who try to get 130 db from a walmart boombox (mmm... 75% THD... that's music to my ears ;) )

That's about it, personally, I would choose similarly priced subs from PPI (Flat Piston), Rockford Fosgate (Punch DVC) or Aura (Force 12") amoung other over this one now that I've had time to evaluate it.

Strength:

Clean tight bass, has a very broad frequency range

Weakness:

Cone of the sub is very free and loose, sub bottoms out easily

This sub works very well with low power. The sub still has clean, tight, hard-hitting bass even with as little as 200 watts going to it. I would recommend this sub if you are looking to spend a little money and want a good product.
