Pioneer TS-W255C Subwoofers

Pioneer TS-W255C Subwoofers

DESCRIPTION

Ready for some high octane sound? You can pour on the gas (classical or otherwise) with Pioneer's VCCS Series TS-W255C 10" subwoofer and enjoy outstanding lows without distortion. That's because a 4-layer voice coil and extended, vented pole yoke enable this sub to handle big-time power with minimal heat build-up.

The TS-W255C boasts high power handling capability, thanks to the rugged durable Aramid fiber IMPP cone and overbuilt motor assembly. The carbon fiber dustcap provides extra reinforcement, so the cone can handle all that power. With a wide urethane surround for maximum travel, you can squeeze every last decibel out of that bass drum kick.

Strength:

Durability. weather was not a concern with the IMPP cone

Weakness:

none in my application

custom built enclosure-sealed-1.5 inch thick MDF -doubled up 3/4" all around. MTX 200 watt thunder amp. 2 cubic foot filled with polyfill... this booger hits hard for a small amp in a jeep wrangler soft top. Kick drum solid and sustaining bass is incredible. Very durable- was rained on, fogged on and lived well through 100 plus ambient temps. Surprising thump for a single 10 incher in an open environment. Pioneer subs excel for the price.
