distort at high volumes Great cheap subs, for just $100 the pair and a vibe 230 amp for $70 i get a lot of punch, really loud for 150 r.m.s. I recommend it. Similar Products Used: sony xplod, titan, rf punch. beats them all! |

Sounds great, cheap, high quality, best for the price
Weakness:
none yet, except for the trunk space i gave up I paid $99 for two subs and got a sealed box for $61. I am puting 300w to the pair out of a class D DEI amp. They hit hard, my friend has two in a CRX and it is VERY LOUD. In my trunk you can feel it hit you in the back of your seat. They are A LOT better then the RF punch (cheap) subs because they can take 400W max and the RF can do 200W max. Similar Products Used: RF punch |

hits hard...good wattage handling...deep bass i would say last long and the way its built..
Weakness:
a little oversized..plastic cone..180watts rms..heavy for just 500 watts max its good for the money like 2 in your trunk is powerfull enough..but if you turn it up to loud to much distortion...and cant handle very very low bass songs...i suggest you use a 300 watt amp and atleast 350 total Similar Products Used: sony 12" sub 400 watts...xplode.... |

Strength:
It hits really hard and can take a pounding over it's 400 max description for a long time.
Weakness:
The only thing is that it is 100 rms so I always find myself cranking it up higher and higher. It is a great sub for a cheap price. Pioneer is definitley a quality product. Similar Products Used: RFZ punch series, MTX thunder series |

nothing cool all aruond i paid 70 for each with a 400 watt amp and that is plenty of power i love this sub i deffinitly recommend it if you want to buy something for not a high cost and is a great sub all around then you should get this then you can move on to something higher Similar Products Used: way better then jl's there like cerwin vega's i love them |

none for the price you pay for them i paid 100 dollars for 2 in a sealed enclosure sounded great but i needed more bass so i went with 4 eclipse 12's for the price you pay for pioneer its definatley worth it Similar Products Used: JL W/0 and mtx 4000 |

really good construction, more than adequate bass response,soound quality is excellent, good looks
Weakness:
cone is made of paper and easy to puncture,nothing else bad about it i paid $45 for mine at an auction about 2 years ago and they are still going strong.they were brand new when i got them and they still look brand new .regular price is $129 each and for that price i would say it is well worth it.anyone that is looking for a good quality subwoofer without spending $300 each this is a good buy for you.i wouldnt trade mine for any other $130 sub. GREAT SOUND

NONE my friend wated a cheap sound system with 12' sube i sugested getting a pioneer deck and subs . we decked out his hole car which is a 87 nisson 280zx (hatchback) , we installed all the equiptement and bought a 150w (75X2) amp from a pawn shop .. and bought a sealed box from the flea market .. after installing it all we grabbed some pioneer 3 way 6" mids/tweeters 4 of the, .. after finished we expected a good sound .. we got beter then we though the sond rolled off the back window of the car and it was amazing sound .. we only dared once to turn it all the way up .. after replacing the back window we didnt do that anymore!! .. and we also hd to re seal the front window .. after having some fun with friend o ,, we were intraduced to the owner of a local car audio shop .. .. the man ofered to pay are way into compition that was coming up in a few months , and to seal the car from all rattles and to add a alarm .. all he wanted out of the deal was to poot the name of his audio shop across the top of the front window .. unfortunatly this never took place me and my frind both couldnt get the time off for the comition ... i belive we would have won some prized .. with the low specification that we had and the amazing sond it poot out .. BEFORE THIS I DIDNT THINK OF PIONEER AS A AMAZING SPEAKERS .. BUT AFTER THAT EXP IT CHANGED ME .. Similar Products Used: None |
