Strength:

A total SQ sub ahead of its time. High Qts, low Fs, very stiff cone, hardest dustcap ever, models excellently in any enclosure, capable of very deep bass in small enclosures. awesome for home diy applications. Extremely durable.

Weakness:

Sub was too good not to be discontinued. Rare, no longer made, stamped steel basket means cheap to those who judge unfairly, power handling, cheap looking logo hard to remove.

This became another one of the most underrated subwoofers I have ever had. I needed an emergency subwoofer quickly and saw this mounted in a Q Logic .68 ft3 enclosure in a pawn shop 4 years ago for $40. I snapped it up considering its modest size. Little did I know that four years later it would still be with me. A multitude of reasons made me keep it (see strengths) This subwoofer has one of the best gain plots I've seen. Sounds excellent.

Similar Products Used:

Older, (used and more affordable relative to original cost) SQ subs strictly. Infinity Kappa Perfect, Infinity Beta, A/D/S/ PX, Alumapro Alchemy.
