Strength:

Here's a fun story~ So Im ridin through my town and all a sudden my back window breaks all to hell, and her im duckin because i thought i was in a drive by or something. Nope, to much cabin pressure. MOMO's move massive amounts of air.

Weakness:

The word weakness doesn't exsist when you're talking about Polk Audio.

Almost a month ago now I purchased 4 12" MOMO's from my friend Josh for 300 bucks. He barely used, just enough to break them in and then decided he wanted some orions! Okay? So I got a really really good deal on these things. Anyway he said they didnt have enough "boom" to them. Which is total bull. Im powering these subs with 2 JL 1000/1 amps. 2 subs to each amp (JL makes dual mono speaker terminals on there amps so you can power 2 subs with the one mono load) Each subs is getting 500watts RMS at 4ohms about. Also Im running a Phoenix Gold Bass Cube. I dont know what my friend Josh was smokin but these things hit with authority. There Loud (157 dB) and dont distort at high volume levels. Very Nice!

Model Reviewed: 4 10" MoMo's

Strength:

Can handle alot of power, hit low frequency's with ease but still sound clean without alot of distortion, look emaculate, pounded the Hell outta all of my friends systems, which included: 3 Alpine R-type 12's-- 4 JL audio W3 10's-- 3 Eclipse Aluminum 10's-- 2 Mtx 8000 15's-- and 2 Audiobahn 18's (cant remember what series they were)

Weakness:

Cost is a little much, but if you compare their cost to their performance you realize you definately are getting your money's worth

MoMo's are crazy! If you want skull crushing bass that still has awesome sound quality get some MoMo's! I have 4 10's in a custom enclosure, in my 98 GMC Sonoma(tight squeeze, its a regular cab!)each sub running off an Alpine Mrd-m500 amp(amazing amps, but expensive as a benzo)for a total of 2000 watts, 500 RMS at 4ohms each. With these subs and 2 sets of Polk momo 5 1/4" components(also running of an alpine amp)Im hitting just a little over 153dB! Not too bad! My fav thing about this setup though is even though i can hit pretty high SPL i still took a 1st and 2nd in a two SQ competitions! I definately recommend these subs(and components)to anybody who's looking for deep loud bass, but doesnt particularly want to sacrafice sound quality.

Just about everything. These subs will take whatever you throw at them. The more power the louder.

Weakness:

Ripping my car up from this Earpiercing SPL! FEAR THE MOMO

FEAR THE MOMO I have not even broken these subs in yet and I can easily tell that they are dangerous. This is actually the first pair of subs I have purchased and I am glad I went MOMO. Haha, these subs are the ones no one really knows a lot about in my area until they hear them (outside my car).I have no dynamat so all sounds are heard outside. These subs being able to set off car alarms is probley a lie. I am definitely not ripping on these subs though becuase I have already broke 160 db's with my rev 3000 amplifier (BOSS) It is running about 1000 watts mono @ 4ohms and about 2200 watts @ 2 ohms. I have debated for a while before I got subs if I should buy Kicker Solobarics or go MOMO. I am glad I went MOMO. Why? MoMo's fit in just about any box and sound good. In fact I didn't believe it until I heard it. The first time I blasted High Roller by Crystal Method and the low freq. hit I really felt my but pucker. I have heard other subs like these but not with SQ nearly as good. I would recommend buying these subs to anyone who wants to trash competition with just two 12's. Just out of curiosity I only ran like 50 watts to these at first and they still hit like MOFO's just not as loud as with the 500 watts I have pumping into them. I don't know everything there is to know about car stereo but I truely think these are some of the best subs around. Just about any subs sounds good if you put it in the proper box. MOMO's can handle all aspects perfectly. For the price I payed for these subs it was more then worth it. If you don't believe me listen for yourself.

Mad style...MoMo''''s dont have time to take names they just stomp a$$...unbelievable subz! Im hittin'''' a 167.4 with 2 JL Audio 15" w3-d4''''s and these damn near whooped my a$$. Hit a clean 159 (with a lil help from a PG Bass Cube)

Weakness:

None really...except maybe that they look so good you''''d rather cuddle with them then put them in your car.

Installed 3 12''''s in my boyz 95 Civic coupe. Each sub is gettin 500 clean watts from its own JL Audio 500/1 amp. I stacked these bad boyz in the trunk and even after 2 layers of dynamat eXtreme it rattled like a mofo. So I took out his back seat and put them in a wall. MoMo''''s are insane! Never heard 3 12''''s that loud in my life. If you have heart problems dont get in a vehicle sportin'''' MoMo''''s.

These are definately up there with JL, Alpine, and MMats. Polk''''s subs have amazing potential, get either 4-10''''s or 3-12''''s and head to a competition.

Strength:

Very very musical! an unusual sub from Polk. Stylish plus unique

Weakness:

it seems to be not loud enough with 400wts mono (perhaps my Orion 800.4 isn't good enough!? Or 1 single 12in isn't good?)

The very main reason I bought this sub is for it's great looks. I never liked the Polk stuffs much because they are known as "bass" type in Home Audio. For that reason I thought this momo would be loud compare to other subs. Once I got installed, I found it to be very musical. It produces warm and deep bass rather than loud and unclear. It's certainly a great sub to buy. I chose it over Infinity Perfect or JL W6 because it's uniqueness. For sound wise, they all are damn good subs. It's your personnal reference of what you like. PS: I think it's because I have only one 12in, that's why it's not loud.
