Strength:

Sounds extremly good in a ported box I have a small punch 40 amp and I bridged it and it bumps so good!

Weakness:

Sucks bad in a 1.25cf sealed box and need more power to bump I only have a old school punch 40 amp all I can afford.

Overall very nice subwoofer for the price I paid it fits the bill nicely 10 bucks I can't go wrong. It hits good in a ported box sounds extremly nice but can't really here it outside the car just inside. I'd say this sub is similar to the Rockford punch XLC and the HE2 is the punch DVC and the HX2 is the power DVC. It hits good recommend it most definitly to anyone. Nuf said!

Strength:

i like every thing about them. they beat all of my friends' no questions asked

Weakness:

they need to be in a tight secure box for optimal sound

these are the best speakers that i have had the pleasure to listen to. i was searching for months for the right speaker and i found it at a yard sale with a 400w amp and a q logic box for $40.00. These speakers are very good

Strength:

Very deep and tight. I'm not sure exactly what power the BP 300.1 amp puts out, (I keep reading it is underrated), but the Rockfords handle it really well.

Weakness:

None so far

Bought a pair of these after reading reviews on this forum. Installed them in a 1.25 c.f. sealed enclosure made from 3/4" mdf. They are powered by a JBL BP300.1 sub amp. My daughter uses them in her Nissan X-Terra and they will blow you away! Tight deep bass, and crystal clear. I almost spent the extra money for the Polk Perfects, but I'm glad I kept the difference and went with the Rockfords. Nothing against Polks, we are just very pleased.

Strength:

-Good Sub -Won't break the bank -Good sound quality -doesnt need much power to make it hit

Weakness:

none really except for that it will make your back window just about damn break.. too much vibration coming from the trunk.. dynomat is very recomended.. over all good subwoofer.

I bought this sub as my first sub. All i have to say is that is pounds the hell out of my trunk. I have one 12' in a Virtual Technology box and it hits around 140!!! Thats unbelievable.. and to top it off, I only had about 400 watts going into it. Overall? Good sub

Great SQ, get loud before they distort

Speakers have great SQ. I am running 2 with my bazooka 500 watt amp. I hit 152.5 db's with these in a sealed box. Im satisfied with them for the price.

Strength:

Hits hard, can handle a lot of power, decent frequency range.

Weakness:

Cost. $120 for a speaker dealers pay $50 for? I would never pay that much.

Solid performance from a cheaper sub. Doesn't compare to JL or Quart, but when given enough power this thing can hit hard. I am running it off of a Rockford 600 watt amp, and while I realize that the power rating doesn't take distortion or amp quality into account, it is still a good amount of power per what the sub is rated. If you pay the full price you are getting ripped off.

Decent overall subs. Not great dynamics, seems like they miss out on some of the ranges of bass... hit 137 db with 2 of em... on a cheap pos amp.

Strength:

pretty good sq, great spl even in my big car, and they look awesome

Weakness:

Not enough power handling for a serious amp, but that''s my fault for buying ''em.

I bought these subs because of the price, and my car has never sounded better! They pound very low and clear, far better than my last system. Have two 12s in a sealed box running off a Power bd1000 at 2ohms(1000watts), yet they haven''t blown up yet! Way overpowered, and they still sound good. My back seat has a half-inch of throw. I can''t wait to upgrade to the HX2 subs, and see what my amp can really do!
