Rockford Fosgate RFP4112 Subwoofers

Rockford Fosgate RFP4112 Subwoofers

DESCRIPTION

Be forewarned — hold on to your seat! That's because the redesigned Rockford Fosgate Punch HE2 RFP4112 12" subwoofer will jar you and your vehicle with booming bass. The thump comes from a cone made from rigid yet responsive polypropylene. The result — the kind of excellent low-frequency extension, definition, and power that you associate with Rockford Fosgate.

A large roll treated foam surround guarantees more cone travel for bigger bass, while a stepped basket makes sure that the cone doesn't "bottom out." Choose the hook-up option that's right for you with dual 2-1/2" 2-ohm voice coils.

  • polypropylene woofer
  • large roll treated foam surround
  • dual voice coil design
  • CONsealer gasket hides mounting screws and stops bass-robbing air leaks
  • frequency response 28-200 Hz
  • power range 100-400 watts RMS (200 watts per voice coil)
  • peak power 800 watts
  • sensitivity 86 dB
  • top mount depth 6-1/8"
  • sealed box volume 0.9-2.79 cubic feet
  • ported box volume 1.75-4.0 cubic feet

AMAZING. A schollmate of mine dropped 1k plus for his bass system. I spent around 500 bucks and have something that kills his and any others. HE2 subs, as with most other RF subs, act bigger than they are. So you get 15" boom with 10 or 12 inch response. A lot of comments about how clear and loud it sounds. I running it through my factory head unit and it still sounds good. Running it through a Rockford Fosgate TYpe RF X-2 amp. Now that amp is huge and provides pf the chart power.

I had a Rockford RFP 3412 and it blew so I got it replaced with the Rockford RFP 4112 and it sounds so much better. A custom box with this Sub ran by the Kenwood KAC-X520 pumps so hards the mirrors and everything shake and your eardrums pop. I have a Chevy S-10 and my 1 sub beats anybody with 2 Subs. This Sub is off the hook.
