Sony XS L1265G ES Subwoofers

Sony XS L1265G ES Subwoofers

DESCRIPTION

- 4-layer Voice Coil - 4 layers of wire in the voice coil, increasing magnetic gauss for faster and more accurate response, and increasing power handling capability.
- Dual Voice Coils -- Two separate voice coils, allowing for different applications. The two voice coils can be wired in either series or parallel to better match the impedance of the woofer to that of the amplifier, for maximum power usage.
- Aluminum Cone - Combines high stiffness with light weight, producing a cone that improves transient response while lowering distortion.
- Aluminum Center Heat Sink - Conducts heat away from the voice coil, and is further cooled by the motion of the woofer cone, allowing for better power handling capability.
- Die-cast Aluminum Frame - Combines strength with a non-magnetic structure, preventing the frame from excessive flexing during operation. More accurate reproduction results, due to the lower levels of distortion.
- Santoprene Surround - A speaker surround material constructed of santoprene rubber offering improved resistance to stretching.
- 12" One-piece aluminum cone.
- Dual 4-ohm voice coils.
- Wire in parallel for 2-ohm load.
- Wire in series for 8-ohm load.
- 4-wrap edge-wound voice coils.
- Long-throw, high output design.
- Die-cast aluminum frame.
- Aluminum center heat sink.
- Durable Santoprene rubber surround.
- Double damper suspension.
- Gold-plated binding posts.
- 1200W Maximum input power.

Strength:

Tasteful and Heart hitting

Weakness:

Getting pulled over for noise pollution.

UNBELIEVABLE. Has so much warmth while maintaining a great kick. I run a Kicker KX600.4 amp to it and the Sub eats it alive. How much power can you give it! I am no expert on sound equipment but this is a BEAST worth listening to.
