Strength:

Unique look and pretty decent SPL output

Weakness:

slow and muddy, unnatural sounding

I bought these because they were clearancing htem out and I have always held Xtant in high regards. I have previously owned JL 10W0's W3' and MTX 5000's. I have to say that this sub falls short of all of them. The SPL on these subs is pretty good, but the SQ has been disappointing. These Subs sound very "muddy" and often unnatural. I was running 150 watts to them and was unhappy so I'm now running 300 watts off of a Precision Power amp and still not too exciting. I'm going to get rid of these subs and buy another pair of JL's.
