Strength:

-Good low tone -Power increase throught power band -Not loud -Nice stainless steel

Weakness:

-Hangers on muffler section are badly placed requiring new rubber hangers

As soon as I installed it (took about 1 hour) i felt an increase in power throughout the power band. It has a great low tone to it but not loud at all, which is great for people who hate loud exhausts. I have not had the rattling problem as some have reported. Although the stock hangers could be a little longer but a quick fix for 10 bucks.

Strength:

You can feel the gains in higher RPMs. Nice low tone. Nice tip.

Weakness:

Muffler canister a bit too big. Mid section hangs too low

Very good cat-back for those of you who don't want the annoyingly loud exaust noise. Mid section hangs too low, will scrape if your car is lowered. Seems like my mid section is about 3 inches off the ground, not much clearance! Then again, i have a 1.7 inch drop and running stock 15 and 50 series tires....so i am at fault there. Other than that, this is a GREAT cat-back.

Looks Great, sounds nice when you get on it, and bolts up straight. Feel it in the high end. Perfect when paired up with Injen Intake.

Weakness:

Actual exhaust hanger for the muffler could be 1/2inch lower to avoid hitting the underneath of car. Longer rubber hangers are a quick easy fix. Don't buy this exhaust if you want everyone to hear you all the time. Tuned for performance, not sound

Car should come right from the factory with this exhaust.

Strength:

Good High End preformance boosts. Nice low tone. Not too loud. Actually muffler fits nicely into stock position. It would be perfect if the piping was engineered a little better

Weakness:

the piping coming off the cat hangs really low. my car is lowered, and i have to raise it back up a little. scrapes over everything. The flange on the connecting point between the mid section of the exhaust and the rear section presses up against the gas tank creating a rattling noise once in a while at low rpm's

Overall, it's an ok exhaust system. If you asked for my opinion before buying, i wouldn't recommend it.

Strength:

Good aggresive low tone Sporty lookin muffler Noticeable increase in ponies

Weakness:

The mid section of the exhaust hangs kinda of low, so if you lower your car it might scrape over speed bumps

I wanted and exhaust that wasn''t to loud and i got it. The style is smooth with a large tip and polished muffler. Installation is simple and the power increase is there after 3,000rpm. This exhaust is perfect for everyday cruisin.

Strength:

- Sweet sound at high RPMs - Quiet for normal daily driving (0-3500 RPM) - Gorgeous mirror finish - Easy installation - Agressive looking angled tip - Good gains throughout RPM band

Weakness:

- Mid section hangs a little too low but I havent scraped yet (stock height)

After having too many headaches from my old exhaust system, I decided to go for something much more quiet. After much research I purchased the Apexi WS. This was the best buy I have made yet for my car. I highly reccomend it.

Look''s really nice on car The sound isn''t too loud Good power increase above 3000rpm Simple bolt on

Weakness:

Middle piping hang''s kinda low Make sure if you go to a shop they know what they are doing, i had it installed and think i would have done a better job myself.

Installation was very simple and fit''s very well. I noticed i can rev at higher rpms now and gain power. The sound is great but kinda quiet, good if you don''t wan''t to be noticed.

Strength:

The Apexi WS exhaust is beautifully made. love the muffler section with its mirror like finish. looks stock and not too loud.

Weakness:

what i really don''t like about this exhaust is that the md section (resonator) hangs WAY TOO low. hangs about an inch lower that the cat. my car is only lowered 1.8 inches and it scraps every time i go over a speed bump or down a drive way. real bad engineering. also the mid pipe is very close to the fueltank and sometime touches it at low revs. thus creating a rattling. can be annoying. i don''t know. i''m about to take it to the muffler shop and have them make a new mid pipe for me. bad engineering i think. if i knew the resonator is so big and hangs so low, i would not have bought it. oh well, i hope its built strong, cuase i know the resonator is gonna be srcapping a lot.

Over all its a nice exhaust system. got mine at www.rollhard.com for $400 shipped. came with everything you need. beautiful piece right out of the box. wonderful exhaust system but not intended for cars that are lowered in my opinion. it would be the perfect exhaust if its didn''t scrap so much all the time. very high quality, but too bulky with the design of the piping.

Model Reviewed: 1997 Civic EX Coupe

Strength:

Quiet, good looks, nice logo on the tip, tip isn''t too big (4"), good low end torque due to the chambered design of the muffler.

Weakness:

Can is extremely large, about the same dimensions as the stock muffler, rattles against gas tank at idle unless you bend the hangers or shove a gasket in between a certain section to cut the noise.

Sweet Exhaust, very quiet, looks pretty decent, not annoying when driving at high speeds.
