Strength:

Well made kit. Brackets and heat shield fit well and assembly is easy.

Great cat back system. This is what the big Ford should have sounded like from the factory. Might not be agressive enough for some but has an authoritative sound with little resnonance inside. Perfect for long distance cruising.

Strength:

True dual design, tucks under car nicely and hangs at proper locations for stock exhaust hangers. Built it crossover, aluminum coated, expanded at ends to slip together, mandrel bent, 2&1/2' pipe.

Weakness:

I didn't have it welded the first time.

Fairly nice kit, mine didn't come with mufflers, just pipes, clamps, and hangers. Well built, mandrel bent, coated pipes. Went together easily, but i wished i'd had it welded the first time so i hadn't had to f with it all this time (a new set of pipes are in the mail). Fit under the car nicely and didn't hang down to catch on stuff like i was worried it would. Will buy a stainless kit when this one goes...

Strength:

Great Sound, Easy install, good quality, good reputation.

Weakness:

most people use them, if you want to call that a weakness...They anre very original, but then again when it comes to exaust who cares!

Can't go wrong with a flowmaster exaust system.

Strength:

Great Price! Delivers on all the Promises ~ Custom made for your vehicle ~ You can install it yourself using original hangers and save the cost of labor ~ Well made throughout

Weakness:

Any Exhaust component can be a pain to install, remember, you've got to get the old one off first! You can take it to a muffler shop but you'll have to pay labor.

This system is just plain GREAT! A bit noisy (great sound) when you get on the throttle but very nice while crusing. It's hard to explain the "Authority" that the exhaust sound has now but you know it when you hear it. I'd say it's JUST RIGHT!

I pull a 29' 5th wheel Travel trailer for long distances. I don't need a headache from a pounding exhaust noise mile after mile. Something that sounds good from stop light to stop light is one thing. An exhaust that you can enjoy, appreciater your expensive sterio and still get the benefits of added HP and great sound when you really want it; That is another matter.

When I'm pulling a big hill I don't mind hearing the engine work. It even SOUNDS like it's going faster! But I really did see an increase in power. I added a Jacob's ignition system and that bumped it up even more.

The original catalitic converter and muffler were very quiet but robing hoursepower. I didn't see any noticable mileage increase after the additions but what do you expect from a 460Cu engine!

Strength:

I like the deep growl that is gives around 2800 rpm and it gives a nice sound when you are in high rpm too. It gives me a better gas mileage and a quicker throttle response.

Weakness:

none.

Since my friend told me about Flowmasters exaust I had to try one. I had 91 Toyota V6 in which I completely modified the exaust on with a Magnaflow exaust, a hi-flow CC and 2 1/2 inch piping and my Flowmaster on my 99 Tacoma 4cyl sounds better than that did.

Its better than any other exaust for a truck.
