Strength:

Looks, tip is big and i was worried about how it would look on my car and its great. Higher end power gains. I honestly feel like my car drives better/smoother/healthier than before.
You know greddy is a quality brand

Weakness:

tiny bit of low end torque loss but nothing too bad. Hmm the only other thing i can say is a "weakness" is that the system only came with one gasket (no way in hell i could use my stock gasket)

So Ive had this greddy evo2 catback on my eclipse for three days now. It is deff a quality exhaust and nothing like the rest. Very deep sound and it sounds bassey. I'm not going to lie i liked the sound of my stock exhaust a lot..BUT the evo2 adds a more throaty sound. I did research for about two months on which exhaust would sound the best for my car and this was the one. My absolute #1 concern was a catback that would sound ricey/fart can/bee in a jar (all that crap). Let me just say that the greddy evo2 catback system DOES NOT SOUND RICEY IN ANY WAY!! and this is the best part.
* Ultimately, if you want a deep sounding throaty exhaust with absolutely no ricey sound, than the greddy evo2 is for you

sounds great at low rpm, looks amazing, gain in power at higher speed.

Weakness:

loss in torque or feels like it atleast, No sound after 3000 rpm. i thought it would be pretty loud at higher rpm specially when the vtec kicks. however u cant hear anything.

paid $1400.00CAD for it.its sounds great at low rpm but there is nothing after 3000. Looks amazing and it got that perfect deep sound.

Strength:

Quality,very well made.

Weakness:

Loss in torque, noise, out of proportion muffler tip.

I am very disappointed with this product. The tip is ridiculously to big,and the loss in torque makes this exhaust not worth the money. It is also a little too noisy for me.I am going to sell the muffler section and buy a quieter one that does not look like a cannon.I will never special order anything without seeing it first.

Strength:

Sound - It's definately bassy at lower RPMs. When you climb up to around 3k it gets throaty. After that my intake takes over so I can't hear it. I've taken it through the city to hear the echo but once again my intake just overwhelmed my cabin. The exhaust is not too loud, not too quiet, definately audible.

Looks - It makes a great look if you have cutouts in your back bumper. When I saw the 4.5" tips when I pulled it out of the box I was like, "Whoa!", but I put em on and it looked great.

Weakness:

Tips - Dent easy.

The hangars on the exhaust are rubbing up against the mount on my car so it's making this high pitched squeaking noise. :(

I originally went to put this on at my friends house but we basically just rounded off my catalytic converter stud nuts. So I took it to another friends house and we installed it with ease. Came together well and fit perfectly. Starting up was the funnest part.

I've got about 200 more miles until the exhaust is completely broken in. It seems like everyday it gets a bit more tone.

Strength:

Looks Performance gains SOUND- it sounds deep and throaty Durability Warranty

Weakness:

Rattles when going around turns, and in the rain. Its big, and gets me pulled over by the cops alot because its "illegal" which is crap, because they never give me a ticket-if it really was illegal, id get one.

My stock system was shot, so i decided to replace it with an aftermarket system. It came down to the apex-i ws II and the evo II. After long consideration, I chose the evo II. Overall it was great. I had to have it installed because most of the bolts were rusted solid on the stocker. I noticed that i gained a little power in the top end, but with a little bit of low end loss. Ever since i pulled out of the parking lot at the muffler shop, it has been rattling against the frame of my car. This gets super annoying, because when ever i go around a turn it rattles. Also, it gets nice and rattly when it rains.. its like non stop.

Stock- didnt rattle, but doesnt compare in performance or sound.

Strength:

looks good. the stainless steel for the piping under your car looks nice. but its under your car and you cant see it anyways. but it still looks good. the Greddy name is the strength for this exhaust.

Weakness:

very bad fitment. exhaust will rattle because of the pipe on the muffler that angles up would hit the frame of your car.

BAD fitment. the exhaust would rattle because its hitting the frame of my car in the back. you would expect that the price you pay for this exhaust it should have a perfect fit. waste of money and i recomend you stay away from this exhaust unless you want to hear rattling sound while you cruise in your ride.

Strength:

great sound, power gain, durable, looks great

Weakness:

low end torque loss, a little large, difficult to clean

In my opinion this is one of the best sounding exhausts you can get for your car. It has a deep sound in lower rpms and there is no rice sound at all. There will be a loss of low end torque but you can make up for it in higher rpms. It's a huge canister and if you don't have a cutout for the exhaust on your bumper there is a chance of scraping. I've scraped a few times already, but this exhaust can handle the abuse.

Strength:

Everything. You name it, the exhaust will put it on the table.

Weakness:

NONE, and to any one who says there is, your lying.

I was looking for an exhaust system for a while. I looked at the EVO 2 for a year before I even had my Eclipse. Turns out the EVO 2 is a winner. The best exhaust ever. It has so many great attributes to it. It sounds the greatest. My friends have Apexi and all those other brands. None of them compare. The note you get out of the exhaust is the best sound, not ricey at all (try APEXi on an 95 honda civic LX, yeah sounds like crap). And also the stylish muffler keeps me from curb checking it on the ground and curbs (unlike that Honda with apex I was talking about, unless you like grinding then it's all good). The Power gain is amazing aswell it basically unleashes the power right as you bolt it on. So in conclusion if you want an exhaust tha sounds and looks good with a design that will keep in pretty looking (ground clearance)with maximum horse power gain then the EVO 2 is for you.

Strength:

- horsepower gain - noise reduction, no more droning sound on the freeway - no more lawnmower sound LOL - stares from the people around you - looks and quality

Weakness:

- the thin tip is easily dented - the can will scrape if you're not careful, but that's with everything

This exhaust is definitely worth getting; I did extensive research on what exhaust system would be best for my civic and it was definitely the evo. I went through 2 different exhaust; the stock and a muffler with a 2 1/4 in. piping. The evo was the unanimous winner, it gave me more high end hp but I did notice a loss of a little torque, but that didn't bother me because civics are known to be high revving anyways. I can't say enough about this exhaust, to me it's perfect. My friend has it on his 2001 sh prelude and he loves it too, even with turbo this pipe is still hanging with the car. The best combination to get for your civic is an aem cold air intake, dc 4-2-1 headers for a little more torque than the 4-1 dc version, and the evo. With this combination you've added at least 15 horses on your ride. For people that complain it still scrapes, learn how to drive a lowered car. If you constantly scrape the bottom of your car then you don't deserve to lower your car. If you're having problems with scraping, just keep in mind to always be aware of the road ahead of you and avoid potholes and dips, as for driveways; drive in a 45-degree angle slowly. It sucks but that's the price you pay for looking cool, over time you'll get so used to it that you'll drive your mom's SUV like it's lowered too, entering driveways in an angle LOL.

Weakness:

not a single one

This exaust is great. Its not the ricey sound you get from the Apex-i N1. It is good and throaty. It is "quiet" at lower rpm's but really screams at 5-8,000. Horsepower gains were great. So far it has been my best buy.
