Strength:

Very quiet at idle and only at higher rpms's can you really hear the exhaust. sounds stock which is good. nice angled look and with a 3" tip you don't like some stupid ricer with a 5" on a N/A car. very clean.

Weakness:

a little too quiet for me sometimes. you forget you even have one when you're driving normally.

I like it. Very nice looking from behind and it's stainless steel. HKS is the best in my opinion

I have hear the TRD, RMM, and Tanabe...if you want louder go with them, but this is a nice, clean-looking exhaust. HKS quality as well! can't go wrong with this one

Strength:

Easy installation. At least that's what it looks like when I watch the mechanic doing it. Nice sound, not too low, not too loud. Maybe it is because I havn't install an air intake yet. It looks cool because it is angled to the side.

Weakness:

I don't have no so far. If you are looking for a LOUD one maybe this isn't for you. If there is anything I would say that I regret paying the shop $100 for installing it. If you have access to a lift I would recommand you to do it yourself. Check www.vfaq.com if you need instructions on installing anything. It is mainly for 1 and 2G Eclipse.

I believe that I did not pay too much for this exhaust so as far as the value it is totally worth it. People say it will give you 20 horsepower but I'm not too sure about that. However you definitely can tell the difference once installed.
I have them installed at Midas if you are wondering.

I mainly choose this one because of its look. I know some other brands do give the same look but I couldn't be 100% sure so I got the HKS Hiper.

Model Reviewed: 1993 Integra GS/2dr

Strength:

The construction is flawless, from tip to the whole pipe. Really smooth!!I've tried DC and Greddy(still are very good systems), but I wanted something different. The design is very clever. As for performance, it's not much different from the Greddy,it's all around performance. The sound is a little louder than Greddy PE from 0-2500rpm, but once you let it all out, it has a VERY Deep Drone. So if you dont care for the loudness and still want some 2-3hp gain, then I recommend the HKS Hiper.

Weakness:

The muffler is too low to the ground, about 4 inches(that's because the car is dropped 2inches)

Louder than DC,Greddy, and 5zigen. Good overall performance. Paid $500 shipped. I deffinitely choose this again over Greddy or DC.

Strength:

Lovely noise, quality, restictor is an excellent idea.

Weakness:

stuffed upness when restrictor is fitted.

This exhaust is very well made, and gives a nice deep throaty sound at idle. Higher in the rev range a tremendous roar is excellent (without restrictor) the car spins up better, and is better in the high rpm's. It remains standard driveablity on a r33 gtst. With the restrictor in, it burbles nicely at idle, but higher up, the car feels stuffed up compared to the unrestricted one. The restrictor is an excellent idea, and goes in and out easily.

Similar Products Used:

excellently, i know of no other exhaust systems to have the restrictor which is a excellent idea. the finish and build quality are second to none.
