Bassani Quiet Thunder Mufflers Mufflers

Bassani Quiet Thunder Mufflers Mufflers

DESCRIPTION

All of our mufflers utilize an exclusive core section, designed to make use of exhaust pulses to create a scavenging effect. The end result is a drop in pressure at each exhaust port which increases the intake charge. Increasing the intake charge (packing of fuel and air into the cylinder), increases horsepower.

Model Reviewed: 67 GT390 Mustang Fastback

Strength:

Build Quality, Sound, Price (I purchased the Bx Series) Bx Series is 409 stainless compared to 304.

Weakness:

None so far

I recently put these on with a pair of FPA Tri-Y Headers and an X-Pipe. I couldn't be happier with the result. They idle down just as quiet as stock but when you give them part throttle they have a very throaty growl to them. Under wide open throttle they sound very exotic, much of this I believe is do to the X-Pipe but the Bassani Bx mufflers give it a very harmonious sound. There is absolutely no rasp and 2000 rpm drone is barely noticeable. I think anyone that wants a more refined tone from their car should consider these.
