Strength:
Great sound, bypass feature is great.
Weakness:
The paint came off and the mufflers are starting to rust. No holes in it yet. Still solid. Had to replace gaskets for the bypasses already, and make sure you get those wing nuts tight.. they WILL fall off! I know from experiance! These mufflers have worked good for me. I like the sound capped, and I LOVE the sound uncapped. Very loud when uncapped, and still pretty loud with it capped, but the two can't compare. Good muffler, but I would change to two chamber Flowmasters if they incorperated the bypass technology. Similar Products Used: I had bo-bo mufflers before this, just Turbos.. definatly sound better. |

Strength:
It gives good performance for a muffler, the sound is great and the welds are strong.It''s a very durable muffler, great for a car with alot of horsepower.
Weakness:
The only bad thing is the interior noise when the cap is taken off. The warlock gives it a nice deep sound considering it''s on a 3.1 liter V6. When I uncap the muffler it''s wild! There is a noticable difference in performance and you can here me coming before you see me.It''s bad ass muffler and definetly worth the money! Similar Products Used: stock |

I could put together a better muffler! I''ve had warlocks for only 2 months on my truck. After 1 month, metal particles on the interior of the muffler had broken off and rattled so loud i could hardly here my exhaust. I lost horsepower after changing the warlocks out with my 2-chamber flowmaters. Just last week one of the two mufflers fell off when I hit a speed bump and on the way home i got a ticket for my exhaust being too loud cause i had no muffler! built well. I hit a seweer cover with it( I run it vertical..) and the car stopped dead in its tracks.big dent. muffler held and is still on the car 2 years later.
Weakness:
I''ll let you know if I find any. what can I say? I''ve had every single muffler made,supersprint,supertrapp,flowmaser two and three chamber,dynomax,superturbo,coleman,bike mufflers, truck mufflers, from 2-4", and the flowtech comes up the winner. when capped its quiet but still has a nice throaty sound. uncapped its the greatest sound, a good second being the coleman racing muffler.:) Similar Products Used: all the mufflers you could think of. |

Uncappable ground shaking performance. Great for the OSU campus night with the imports. It is amazing how the honda in the next line stops bleeping his throttle.
Weakness:
Can be a little bit loud. Well I can say these Mufflers are not for weak of heart. Running a Torino with a boss 351 let me say what a sound. Well running about about 3800 rpm these things have a sound that is just great. Sounds something like the factory 427 mufflers they used on the thunderbolts. But uncap these babys and whao the ground will shake. I have been running solid mid 12 second times 12.36 at 110 mph and thats on street tires. Well with my muffs uncapped I was able to turn a best of 12.31 @112mph same set up street tires, 4.11 ford 9inch rear end. Really great mufflers. Similar Products Used: Flowmasters and Boss OHO factory mufflers by ford great sound but not able to uncap the exhaust. |

I have the warlocks on my mustang with a combo of :BBK Long Tube headers 1 3/4, Bassani X pipe(3"), and then the warlocks(3") with turn downs...With the the xpipe and headers with the stock mufflers...the car sounded racy but was still to quiet(sounded like a throatier stock 5.0). But with the warlocks(with the cap closed), they put a whole new sound to car...of pure performance. With the caps open, they produce a open exhaust sound which is a bit loud for the street but the performance gain is noticeble.With the caps open, i gained .17 and 1.2 mph on the 1/4 with is quite good for just mufflers. Good quality as well
Weakness:
Because i do not run tail pipes to the back of the car, with the caps closed, the sound is a bit droning. I DO NOT recommend running the mufflers uncapped on the street! I paid 140 for each of my mufflers(which came in a package called "Stinger Catback") I did my own installation with was easy(about 1hr)...Most of the time was taking by getting out the stock system. I recommend the 3" cat back to anyone producing at least 350-375 horses and with a higher redline that stock. Before i was up to that level, the mufflers "popped" quite a bit on shifting and deceleration, but that was expected with the larger diameter system. If you are going to be remaining under that level, i recommend the 2.5" system which should cost either the same or less. Similar Products Used: Stock |

good sound, quiet muffler, had a choice of running straight pipe if you remove the cap, pretty cool.
Weakness:
muffler was rusting from ends and was about to fall apart, after paint burned off muffler, muffler started rusting. would select 1/2 star but 1 star is the lowest. Paid 89.00 for a muffler that was about to fall off on the freeway and kill someone!! Similar Products Used: dynomax , flowmaster, best mufflers on the market!!! get one or the other!! |
