Strength:

Very powerful but if you want power you'll pay the price.

Weakness:

None so far

I love NOS and all their products..luckily for me the wet system I purchased for my vehicle wasn't too difficult to install and took less than 2 hours. Along with a K&N FIPK and Flowmaster exhaust and some other bolt on goodies the car dynoed at 392 rear wheel horsepower.I was amazed at the ingenuity of the product and the power increase it gave my car. I have only been beaten once at the track and that was buy a prfessional driver in a hopped ZO6.

off the line when i hit it it is like a force of power which is insane. when i ran with out nos i was getting a small chirp in 2nd. with nos i was laying it in 2nd and chirping in 3rd. i have yet to find out what it does on the 1/4 mile.

Weakness:

filing the bottle is the biggest drag out here in anahiem. there is nowhere close that will fill a bottle. other wise it is awesome.

i have had this nos kit on my car for about a month now and have loved it since! i see that cars i used to get smoked by are now falling short. i have raced a customed turbo'd pt cruiser and smoked him, as well as others. i have enjoyed the kit completly so far!

Strength:

fuel pressure safety switch will cut the nitrous flow immediately if a drop in fuel pressure is detected, protecting your engine. easy to change jetting (change hp setting). relatively easy install, simple product.

Weakness:

the kit is a bare minimum parts required kit. you really do need a bottle heater to keep the pressure up to it''s normal state. it would be nice if the kit included a pressure gauge, i didn''t know that i was running half the required pressure until i bought a guage.

oh boy, so many things to say. this product and company have simply pleased me to no end. i did a lot of research before selecting a good nitrous kit, mainly between the three big guys, NOS, ZEX, and Venom. Well, whenever I tried calling ZEX for tech questions, I never got an answer. Venom looked really nice but I simply didn''t have the cash. When I called NOS on a Sunday afternoon, I got a human being on the phone after 2 rings, and a fax of the entire user''s manual for the import nitrous kit right away. They also answered any and all questions I had. So, I ordered the kit. When it came in, we put it in at my shop in a day, easy. Now this is power you can feel. I''ve had this product since august and I simply love it (very hard not to go all out with the jetting though, very tempting).

Strength:

Cheap horsepower (about 60), easy to install

Weakness:

Filling up the bottle

This product increases horsepower greatly with a touch of a button. Great for racing as well as raising hell in town. Cut off a good 2 secs on my car, and when desired to get a little kick in town, hit the button and you'll be spinning out 3 gears. Unreal power compared to the wimpy 1.6 SOHC.

Strength:

HUGE POWER INCREASES! I dropped my 1/4 time from a 16.35 to a 14.67 (1.7 sec!). Easy to install and use...

Weakness:

People will tell you, you can use it on a stock car, BUT - it's only as safe as you make it. I'd suggest getting a FPR, Injectors, cold plugs, 2 deg ign. retard, and 93 octane gas.

I'd recommend it to people with a street car that don't want the constant boost of a turbo. Make sure you're safe and have enough fuel!

If you have the $$ and want better tuning get the new Venom kit!

Strength:

Perfect if you want to add a little bit of power to your car (like 60 HP). Easy to use and install, no real fine tuning necessary, just drill a hole in your intake arm and shoot the N2O into the intake manifold...car's ecu should take care of all the fuel mixing. Has safety features so that you don't destroy your engine easily. Cheaper than a turbo or supercharger.

Weakness:

Having to fill up the bottle all the time. Having to turn on the bottle in order to obtain power.

I paid about $700 to have the kit fully installed in my car. I suggest that you get the remote bottle valve for the bottle, because then you don't have to go to your trunk to turn the bottle on. All in all, the kit is perfect for those weekend racers that want to be able to post some decent times at the track...yet don't wanna have boost on all the time (e.g. a turbocharger). I'm running about 60-shot of N2O, and it took off 2 seconds off of my best 1/4 mile time naturally aspirated. Good bang for the buck, but refilling the bottle can get annoying.

Strength:

easy to isntall, easy to use, great power for little money.

Weakness:

none that i can think of, unless the speed shop is out of nitrous when i wnat to refill.

I was surprised by how little there really was to a NOS kit. Install was not hard, I had to ask a few questions at a local shop, and it went in fine. I had never even touched nitrous before I got this kit. If you can handle installing an intake, or changing a tire then you should not have much of a problem getting the kit in. The best thing about it is that no one knows its there til you use it. I made a big difference, though i did not really notice it since it isnt a nek snapping yank like the movies (plus i only ran a 50 shot since i have 140,000 miles on my engine).

compared to zex...its MUCH better than zex.
