Strength:

lower lag time...makes car "feel" more power than it really has.

Weakness:

prone to go out. Bad turbo over-all. Look into something else. MIH turbos are known for their longevity.

If your looking at this turbo...DON'T!! This turbo acts good...for a while, but it is prone to going out as soon as 20k. Look for a MIH turbo. Upgraded my saab from the gt17 to a td04hl-15t....and have gone over 100k on the new one.

Strength:

Spools easily

Weakness:

strange exhaust housing design

I bought this turbo t pput onto my project car - a holden barina. Running 14psi I have turned out a huge 140kw at the wheels and still get the turbo spooling at very low revs. this is an incredibly efficient turbo and I recomend it to anyone who has a small capacity engine

never used one, but a garrett ball bearing t25 would be a simialr thing
