Strength:

Very solid and smooth initial bite and can be harsh/race worthy if driven hard hence strip/street clutch. Light pedal pressure (less than stock). VERY GOOD pedal feedback and response. Long life

Weakness:

Price, but it's still worth every penny.

I also Bought the billet 7.5lb aluminum flywheel Came with ARP hardware, new bearings, and unit balanced. What can i say? they are the Masters of clutches. Id recommend stage 3 for any street application, nothing less, nothing more. long strand kevlar disk design without rivets. will last a VERY long time even with abuse. Best mod i have done to my car by a long shot. If i get a new car i will put one of these in for sure. I much modification. flywheel took a while to get used to. sometimes i think i went too light as i have a knife edged & lightened crank/rotating assembly, unorthodox race crank pulley, and then this light flywheel. Car revs up like a motorcycle. No regrets after trying a stock car.

My previous review blamed the Clutchmasters product for my tranny making the "grinding coffee" noise. I would like to now clarify what's been going on, the transmission synchronizers in the 2nd to 3rd, and the 4th to 5th shifts were shot. I unjustly blamed the Clutchmasters clutch on my old transmission hiccups. Please know that now, the entire Clutchmasters setup gets a perfect score. I've had no problems yet from the actual parts.

Strength:

Strong engagement, just feels solid.

Weakness:

"Grinding coffee" noise during certain shifts does not do wonders for my opinion about Clutchmasters clutches. Maybe I'll try ACT next, even though they have gay names for their clutches.

This upgrade was significant in it's price and I feel that the product was somewhat worth it. The break-in period felt like it was an eternity! I wanted to just drop the clutch and burn out on so many occasions because I wanted to test my newly upgraded baby...but, common sense won out and I made it past the break-in period. I've had this inside my car for around 1 year and have had no big problems with it. However, I've begun to notice that when I shift at redline at the shift point '2nd gear to 3rd', that it sometimes makes the "grinding coffee" noise associated with newbie stick shifters shifting without engaging the clutch. This has also started happening at the '4th gear to 5th' shift. I don't know if the cause of this is the age of the car (8 years and 131,000 miles) or the way I drive (hard), but I know that this shouldn't be happening with a clutch that is supposed to be able to handle a turbocharged application with heavy doses of nitrous when I only have a CAI, cat-back exhaust, and aluminum flywheel.

SMOOTH ENGAGEMENT.EXELLENT GRIP.

Weakness:

YOUR LEFT CALF MUSCLE HURTS AFTER A LOT OF STOP AND GO DRIVING.

I CHANGED MY CLUTCH NOT BECAUSE I NEEDED A NEW ONE BUT BECAUSE MY BROTHER OFFERED TO DO IT AT SCHOOL FOR FREE. I WAS DEBATING BETWEEN A STAGE 2 OR 3. I PICKED 3 CAUSE THEY WERE THE SAME PRICE. I COULDNT BE MORE SATISFIED WITH IT. IT DOES NOTHING BUT GRIP. SO IF YOUR CAR HAS MINOR UPGRADES OR A FULL RACECAR THIS CLUTCH IS PERFECT

Strength:

The clutch pedal feels like a Mustang. So far smoother shifts.

Weakness:

Have to break in the clutch, 450-500 miles stop and go driving. Unfortunately I haven't gotten there yet.

So far the clutch feels a lot stronger than stock. Next is the header and chip upgrade. We'll see what happens. I'll keep you informed.
