Model Reviewed: 95 Integra LS

Strength:

Definate acceleration and overall speed increase. More response, easy install, great sound - not too loud, not too quite

Weakness:

K&N didn''t include any tools, which was a pain, because I didn''t have the specific renches needed, but I got though alright using other tools for the same job.

Whoa! Today I installed a K&N Typhoon Intake system on my ''95 Integra LS, and immediatly I noticed a signifigent preformance boost. 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear are MUCH more responsive, and overall acceleration is greatly increased. It looks and sounds great too, but fortunatly, at low to moderate throttle, there''s no noticable change in sound, so I can still feel comfortable driving to the grocery store, grandmother''s house, etc. However, at higher RPMS the sound comes alive, changing what was a high pitched whine into a powerful throttle. Installation took around 45 mineuts, but would have gone faster if my buddies and I had been working more efficently. The hardest part was getting the hoses attached under the radiator hose, but absoltuly nothing that complicated was really required, and the documentation was great. I''m very pleased with this purchase, and can''t wait until my next race. Oh yeah, I looked around for prices, and many chain stores (such as Advace Auto Parts) charge $190 for it, but you can mail order it or buy it at a local speed shop (like I did) and get it for less the $150.
