Strength:

looks good, easy to mount, if getting the rack for 65 like I did, well worth the price.

Weakness:

part that holds the skis might be short lived, locks and mounts ad to overall cost.

Not a bad rack but not great. Plastic/rubber that grips the skis seems a little flimsy but held on well when I took my skis in for tuning last week.

I hate that Yakima and Thule don't add the locks and a better universal mount. Also had to purchase the mighty mounts to fit my factory rack ($21.00) and the core locks ($20.00). Those add up.

All said and done, a great deal from the REI.com outlet.
