    Strength:

Life of tread, tracking, and handling.

    Weakness:

Seem to need air more frequently than other tires and a bit bouncy

Best tire I have ever tried on my Chevy G20 Van Conversion. Had tracking and wear problems with all prior tires including Michelins. Put these on and all the problems have been greatly reduced. Good handling and wear.

I have had very heavy loads on these tires and they did not give me any trouble even on five hundred mile trips to, from and around west Texas deer leases

    Weakness:

Side walls could be a little bit thicker to allow for brush problems.

I own a medium sized truck and have done some modifications. Stock BHP was 175 and the torque ran 240 ft/lbs. After modifications BHP is 260 and torque is 320 ft/lbs. BFGoodrich Advantage Plus are the only tires that I can find for less than $100 that can actually give me traction in the rain.

    Strength:

We are getting almost two miles per gallon better fuel economy with these tires than those we replaced. Quiet, smooth ride on the Interstate at speed.

    Weakness:

On rough roads they do not give the feeling of quick recovery and stability the Michelins did.

I had been running Michelins on our 97 Grand Marquis, but thought to put a less expensive tire on for its last year with us. The cost at Sam's Club was enticing. The service Sam's Club gave us was first rate. We have taken two long trips and spent the remainder of the driving time in city driving. There have been no problems with the tires through the first 9,000 miles.

You get what you pay for.

I have had these tires for 2 months. One of my tires went flat due to a tear in the sidewall. When I went back to Sam's to get it replaced I found out the tires had been discontinued. Sam's replaced the tire, but I had to pay the difference for one tire and had to buy a new one, because I had to buy a different brand of tire.

Put 4 of the “Advantage Plus” on my Ford Windstar. They are performing better than the factory installed Goodyear Integrity’s, which truly are cheap garbage. Now there seems to be some confusion here on the Advantage tire. Some of the reviews speak to the “GT” and others do not identify the style tire at all. There are several styles available. If you look very closely at the “Advantage Plus” tread design you will see that it is in fact a Goodrich M80 with a different name and a slightly reduced tread warranty. Sears used to do this with their tires years ago, Road Handlers were Michelins but were a little less expensive under the Sears name. You find this with lots of products. Buy a Roper drier and you get a whirlpool. Whirlpool has a little better warranty but you pay so much more. If you look at the “M80” reviews you will note that this is an exceptional tire and under the “Advantage Plus” name it is a very good value. I paid about $63.00 for each including tax and mounting which also included lifetime balancing and rotation. Not too shabby for such a fine tire. I do not know where they got the picture posted here but my tires look nothing like that picture. The picture posted here is an “M65” which is a lower cost tire. Maybe the M65 is a plain “Advantage” and not an “Advantage Plus”, who knows. You can see the differences for yourself if you visit the Goodrich web site. You will however not find “the advantage” name list anywhere on their site describing these tires. Only made for Sam’s Club, I think……. Simply repackaged at a lower cost but same tire.

These are the worst tires I have ever owned. I paid $60 for 2 at Sam's Club! I thought I was getting a good deal, but honestly, the cars shakes and after 6 months I had no tread on 2 of the tires. Sams replaced them free of charge. Now, a year later, I am replacing them pro rata which means $$ out of my pocket, and they only have less than 30,000 miles on them. Sam's Club should refuse to carry these tires. They are worthless.

    Strength:

    Good wet traction so far

    Weakness:

Belts twisting or slipping. Tire does not last and may not be safe at higher interstate speeds. Overall poor value despite low cost.

I know there isn't much information to be found on the WWW regarding the Sam's Club tires so here is my experience with the Advantage Plus. I had installed a new set of 4 tires in 2000 or about 22K miles ago. Two of the original tires have already had defects and had to be replaced. The first one was one year ago which I thought was a fluke. This week now another one has failed in the same fashion. Both tires had internal belts that slipped or twisted leaving a surface distortion and a horrible shaking or vibration. I mean you will think something major is happening to your car and you probably cannot drive over 50mph. In fact I left my car at my in-laws home which is 100 miles away for over a week as the car was not drivable on the open road. On the trip up there the car ran fine except for the last 5-10 miles which I thought the road surface when to heck due to some road construction going on. When I tried to return home I could tell something major was wrong so I parked the car thinking I had major front end problems like Tie-rod ends or ball joints, etc.. This last tire still had 7/32 nds of tread left so you can see they still had plenty of rubber left. In both cases Sam's replaced the bad tires with no more out of pocket money but I wasted a couple of days since my car was in another location and I was running around trying to find front end parts when in fact it was the rear tire. Overall cannot recommend the Advantage Plus even though it appears on the surface to be a good tire it isn't made for extended highway type of use in my State where the Interstate speed limits are 75mph. Around town it might be OK if you NEVER go faster than 65 mph - but this is only a guess. With 2 of 4 already going bad I doubt I will be using them in the future

None - you get what you pay for. Cheap.

    Weakness:

High speed vibration. Poor dry/wet traction.

Purchased 4 tires for $53/ea at Sam's Club. Noticed high speed vibration right away. Tried to re-balance tires twice. Turns out that tires were out of round in the manufacturing process - explains the bouncing at high speeds.

    Strength:

I track our gas mileage like a fanatic. The mileage increased by nearly 1 mpg over the past 17 tanks. It still runs so smoothly. The one thing I was concerned about was wet weather performance, but we have had three good storms, and I have intentionally run through water with nary a wiggle. Very impressed for the very reasonable price and outstanding service.ø

    Weakness:

None yet after nearly three months and five thousand miles.

Extremely good product for the price. We had these installed on a 1997 Ford Contour in size 205/60-15. The shop in Augusta did an outstanding job. At speeds up to approximately 75mph the car is as smooth as glass.
