BF Goodrich Radial Mud Terrain T/A Tires

BF Goodrich Radial Mud Terrain T/A Tires

DESCRIPTION

The tire that gives you the Traction/Advantage and confidence to explore the uncharted wilderness. Radial Mud-Terrain T/A® was proven in the punishing terrain of the Baja. TriGard® construction with three sidewall plies makes it super tough (most other light truck tires have just two plies). Wide-open tread digs through deep gumbo mud, sand and snow. Go-anywhere traction and performance that's very streetable too. Available in 15-16 inch sizes.

Strength:

Great in mud, snow, hard dirt and rocks. Wear and ride well (so far). Not very loud at all for a mudder.

Weakness:

Hard snow/ ice. Not NEAR the traction of my old All-Terrains, but that is expected. Not very good in sand being so aggressive and narrow.

Bought these off a friend with 500 miles on em. I love em. They work great with my little truck (85 Toyota) for tearing through the goo and such. Wide tires on my truck cause too much mud to be pushed up infront cause I do not have the power to clear it quickly. I have put about 2000 miles on them and they have not shown any wear so far, but they better not with that low of milage!

Strength:

super strong sidewall. handles wet/dry no problem. excellent ride on freeway. i like the hum driving down the street.

Weakness:

nothing in a 38

When I first put these on my truck with my centerlines I got thumbs up from everyone on my block. Now a year later I am still proud of my choice. These tires helped me get out of deep sand/mud pit and never let me down. I've run over a couple of 2in. nails and they don't fade them. great traction in rain. i've drove about 200 miles one day on the freeway and i never doubted them. i will only buy BFG's for my cars. i even tell my family to buy them.

good street qualities for a mud terain and real good off road traction i take these tires rock crawling all the time with no complaints off road mud they do a good job too

Weakness:

having to rotate every 4000 for even wear but hey u have to do that with every mudder

if u have weekend warrior and take your rig out once a month and is a daily driver or more get these if have a trail rig only go boggers

This is a great tire for mud boggin. I do about 40% off-road and 60% on road. And if your looking to get this tire, please don't let the price do anything to your getting them. Or you'll be stuck in the mud. No pun intended

Weakness:

Other then kind of loud on the highway, nothing.

I would recommend this tire because it is a great mud terrain tire. My friend has Dunlop mud terrain and he saw mine off road and the tread pattern, he's saving up money to get some.

I had Bridgestone Dueller AT. and the bfg mud terrain is alot better.Dosen't pack full of mud. It tends to self clean pretty well. Much better then Dueller.

Strength:

Climb over or through anything. They flex around rocks very well and give great traction in dirt, mud, and snow (not ice!). They do have a hum on the road but it's not bad for this type of tire, much quieter than Swampers. Great tread life and wear very evenly.

Weakness:

Really scary on ice! Definitely need to be siped, then they're fine. Seem to blow beads a little too easily, especially after hardcore mudding.

Paid about $140 each for 33x12.50-15's, much cheaper than swampers. Pretty much a standard tire for light to semi-hardcore wheeling.

Strength:

these tires rule...there is no other tire that is better( super swamper tsl boggers..maybe) But they are GREAT for mud, sand, snow...and despite others beliefs they are great in the rain...sure you can spin em, but can't you do that with every tire. Off road they are unstoppable, i have 30x9.50 mudz, and i went throu a pit that others were getting stuck in who had 33-35 bfg all terrians. up and down muddy hills they are great...

Weakness:

ice....it sucks, but it is actually kinda fun to get into an open parking lot and slide around..., you can feel the lugs when going under 15-20..but i got used to it and don't even notice anymore..not too noisy on intersate, BUT you DO have to balence and rotate em every 3000 miles to get even tread wear

I paid 105 a tire at costco....I would reccomend it to anyone who actually goes off road more than 3 times a year..they are good looking and have a serious bad ass factor. also when you mount em, if u mount em black out they look bigger

Strength:

Really good on the hills. With these tires I can climb a sand hill or a muddy hill. The last long on the road and are tought looking. Great tire to get for the not so serious offroader!

Weakness:

They have a little bit of a problem with cleaning them self off in the mud. The tread does not clear mud to good.

Overall the best tires you can buy for the coast and great for sand, mud, wet road, and anything else you can find!
