Strength:

Great in the weather. Holds great.

Weakness:

215/45/17 hard to get balanced. Little too much road noise. Too much roll in sidewall. Picks up alot of small debris.

Have had no probs with them. Cant grip any better in the rain. Best warrenty, for the size (215/45/17). Would buy again but wish they had a dirrectional tread.

Strength:

Quiet ride. Great in the rain. Excellent straight-ahead tracking. Very little squeal in corners. Last forever. Very predictable at the limit, extremely controllable breakaway. Attractive, if that's important to you.

Weakness:

Dry roadholding is good, but could be a smidgen better.

I got 60,000 miles out of mine, could have gone for another couple thou if not for recent rain, which caused me to reconsider hanging on to these any longer. These are excellent tires for the price.

Stick to the road, longevity, looks, quiet

Weakness:

This is hands down the best set of tires i have ever owned. They are glued to the road and somehow they seem to last forever. I am at 45000 miles on these and they look like a tire with 10000 miles. They have a somewhat aggressive, attractive tread design that does more than look good. I have yet to hear so much as a squeak from these tires in hard cornering or acceleration applications. Above all, the tires that these replaced sounded like a marching band in comparison...these suckers are SILENT. Couldn't possibly be happier...especially at $82.00 per tire. I will buy these again...if they ever wear out!

Strength:

Great grip/ looks/ lack of noise/ and supposed longevity

Weakness:

no road hazard warranty
small puncture ruined tire (sidewall stability issue?)

If this tire had hazard coverage, I would recommend it to anyone. I love the looks, dry/wet weather grip, and 60k warranty. However, the warranty only holds if you have a bridgestone dealer rotate and balance every 7.5k, which adds up in costs. If you are like me, you rotate yourself, and if you need balancing, you go to your neighborhood mechanic.

The road hazard was the kicker though. My brother blew the tire on the free way, about 2 months after they were put on. The small puncture that caused it made it go totally flat, and in driving off the off ramp, totally ruined the sidewall, so when I tried to blow it up again, it blew up like a balloon. I question the durability of the soft sidewall. Anyways, I had to cough up 100 bones to get a new one, which college students on their own dont care for.

I dont care how well they handle, I need road hazard coverage at this point in my life, and buying tires w/o it was a $100 mistake. I will probably change my tune if they go 60k and dont blow, but Im worried.

Strength:

Wet-weather handling.
Ride quality.
Quiet.

Weakness:

Not available in an H speed rating.

Excellent handling in the rain. Smooth, quiet ride on dry roads. Tires have worn well and have never required rebalancing. Excellent tire at a great price for anyone requiring T speed rated tires.

Honda specifies H speed rated tires for the 1995 Accord EX. I purchased my car used 2 years ago and these tires were already installed, but if they were available in an H speed rating I would definitely purchase them again.

Model Reviewed: 1995 Bonneville

Strength:

They grip like velcro in all weather conditions. Good wear (so far). Quiet.

Weakness:

Harsh ride, seem to be difficult to balance.

I bought these to replace the worn-out Eagle GA's which came with my '95 Bonneville (bought new). On the positive side, the traction is incredible! Great in rain and snow - outstanding on dry pavement, where they grip the road incredibly good. By comparison, the OEM Eagle GA's did poorly in this area... great for tire-squealing sound effects w/traction control off, but that's it.

There is a down side to these Bridgestones. They do not ride smooth. My Bonneville has cast wheels of course, plus the FE3 suspension and computer command electronic ride control - not your floaty-ride sedan by any means. I gave up on having these balanced dead-on, while they do run quiet with normal road surface "feel", and tar strips and expansion joints are not a problem, there is just too much "kicking and knocking" coming from these.

My suggestion... if you want a family car performance tire with fantastic traction, and don't mind a harsh ride as they age, these are good. If you log on miles cruising down the highway, you might want to re-think this one. I for one, am seriously considering replacing these despite having 50% tread left.... I'd like to keep my car together!

Strength:

Good grip. Precise control. Comfortable ride. Excellent treadwear.

Weakness:

None

Excellent street tire. Good looking sidewalls. A lot of grip. Car is dropped about 1inch. I take corners pretty hard. Have not had these tires screech unlike the crappy Michelin XGT's. Also comes with a lot of treadwear. Outstanding dry weather tire. Because of the UNI-T, handles just as well in wet traction. Car never feels slippery or out of control with these tires. Highly recommended.

Strength:

Came stock on our new Echo, handles those 110 throbbing ponies!

Weakness:

Came stock on an ECHO!!!!

At about 80mph, there is absolutely no side wind stability!! Of course, that ight have something to do with the EXTREMELY high center of gravity, and the fact that the car is made entirely from aluminum and fiberglass-weighs about as much as my mother in law-about a ton excactly.

I needed new tires to wrap my BBS rims for my Jetta. I couldnt be happier the car originally had Potenza's so why change something if it works. The tires have great grip and will last a long time.

Weakness:

NONE

Great tires for a good price. Look great wrapped around alloy BBS rims. Bridgestone is a good tire company that has a great namesake in racing. Worth buying for any car.
