I am a careful driver especially relative to potholes in New England. I have gone through 4 tires this winter/spring because of "bubbles" with no obvious road hazard activity. These tires are JUNK

Tire failed for allegued road hazard after 400 miles - first experience of that tipe for me in 32 years of driving

Those Continental tire came as OEM with my Toyota Corolla. I found them to ride really soft and not very responsive....more like you expect a large american car to respond. I rear tire failing at 400 miles for allegued road hazard. The Continental warranty did not cover that (Michelin would have, I have been told). I got my lesson....those were my first and last Continental tires. I have immediately replaced 2 by Michelin MVX4 and the ride has already become crispier...can't wait to replacing the two others

Strength:

Great tread wear - 57,000 miles and still sufficient tread for summertime driving.

Weakness:

A little road noise and one tire needs air added about once a month.

Both my wife and I drive our cars nearly 20,000 miles annually. These tires have had the best tread wear of any tire we've had in the past 10 - 15 years.

We purchased a Versa Sl with an extended service and warranty whhich included a Road Hazzaed tire section. One tire was repaced at 4200 miles well inot the tread lifte with the dealer saying the policy did not appply becasue it was sidewall damage, This is not the way I read it. At 8200 miles 2 other of the tires were down to the wear bars even though the low pressure ligth never came on and the car was dealer serviced by the book. Again the dealer said there was no coverage for premature wear. Why would one ever want a tire with only an 8200 mile life?

Noise, Cupping, uneven wear ... just crap!

Do not purchase this tire. With less than 26,000 miles I am replacing them. The noise is driving me crazy! Cupping ... in spite of the fact I have rotated the tires 3X since buying the car (Nissan Altima)new in May 2008. These have to be the worst tires I have ever had. I wouldn't pay $25.00 for a new one.

Weakness:

Can not get more the 20k miles on tires. Traction in snow not acceptable.

Do not purchase this tire and request dealer to either replace are reduce cost of your car because you will be replacing these tires within 20k miles. I have 21,000 miles on my Nissan Altima that came with the Continental ContiProContact P215/60/R16 tires. One of these tires has already developed a bad belt and shows cupping of the tread. Found this out upon second rotation of tires and with this tire on the front the noise is unbearable. Checked complaint list on continental tires and there are numerous complaints.
