These tires were on my car when i bought it used. These are the worst tires i have ever had the privlage to drive on. They have a really good amount of tread. So far i'v put about 10k on them since i've had them. I drive my car hard sometimes and these are deffinatly not the tires to do it on. They have next to no snow traction and are equally terrible in the wet. For a regular driver these would be decent in the dry but if pushed farily hard they just give out.

These are the best tires I ever owned. Better than the Sears ones I used to buy; they don't last more than about 60,000; I've had 2 replaced under 80 k warranty; but they're cheaper than similar warranty tires. I just love these tires.

Tread wear, traction, should not be listed as an all season touring.

These are the worst tires I have ever bought. Traction was greatly reduced after 20,000 km, and even when new slippage occurs on almost any surface but dry pavement. I've had problems hydroplanning at speeds as low as 85km/hr. Snow driving is dangerous, even in a light snow, I had trouble starting from a dead stop. Now, at 60,000km the tires are almost completely bald. Paid $125Cdn each.....:(

Micheline Energies were the original tires on the car and they performed much better in both tire life and all road condition traction.

I was told by the tire store at the time of selection and purchase, that Dunlop D65 tires were a high quality product.

The warranty of 80K is a misrepresentation. Having one tire wear out at 18K has been a major disappointment.

I purchased 4 Dunlop D65 Touring tires to replace four worn out OEM Bridgestone Duelers on a '98 Subaru Forester L at 33 K miles. Most of my driving is on rural, windy country roads, both paved and unpaved. I purchased the Dunlop D65 Touring tires based on the 80K warranty. I know that all wheel drive is tough on tires and leads to premature tire wear. However, one on the Dunlop tires wore out very prematurely at 18K and I had it replaced on a prorated basis where I paid 25% of the cost of the new tire. I presently have 32K on three of the tires and see significant wear. Since the wear is even across the tire tread, I will probably be able to replace them on a prorated basis with the warranty. I have the tires rotated every 7500 miles and have the alignment regularly checked and corrected if necessary. I am wondering if the replacement under the warranty is worthwhile, since dealing with the store is a hassle. Also, even if the cost is prorated 50%, I question whether this is a good buy. In summary, I have a low rating for Dunlop D65 Touring tires.

Since the 80K warranty and high cost places this tire in an upper end category, Dunlop D65 tires compare poorly to other similiar tires.

Reasonable dry-pavement traction, cornering, decent on wet pavement.

Mediocre in fresh snow, outright dangerous on packed snow or ice.

Purchased tires with expectations of hard rubber and mediocre traction, given 130,000 km (80,000 mi) warranty. The traction was good on dry pavement and mediocre under more inclement conditions. BUT, and this is key, all four tires have evenly worn out after 60,000 km (40,000 mi). I could have gotten this kind of mileage out of Pirellis or sporty BFGoodrich tires with much better traction. In winter, my car squirms all over the road on frosty or slightly icy pavement. At over Cdn$100 a piece for a "premium all-season radial" this is unacceptable. I'm taking these turkeys back and hopefully can get 50% off some OTHER brand of tire (considering BFG Touring T/A HR4).
