Strength:

Nice styling

Weakness:

Wore out very quickly. Have only 30,000 mi and need to replace already. After sitting a few days, very rough ride for first 10 miles or so till warmed up.

Overall I would not purchase again. Wore out way to fast. I bought these to soften the ride on the Explorer, which didn't happen

Strength:

Awesome look! Good grip. Quite ride.

Weakness:

It's summer tire, not all season.

I used it on my Civic and now on Mini Cooper. Looks sporty, handling perfect, corners - couldn't be better. Perfect thin tire for the light car.

Strength:

dry traction, good looks

Weakness:

wet traction

The tire has unbelievable traction at the track, my best E.T. to date has been an 11.47sec @ 116mph. 60' times in the 1.60 seconds are not uncommon. Compared to a drag radial though, I'm sure they are not nearly as soft...but the last set lasted about 6 years. Surely a "race only" tire would not wear as slowly. I am on my second set and will buy another set after this.

Strength:

exceptional value, many sizes (235/60 r15), best looking tire i've found. exellent cornering capacities, very good dry performance, better than average wet performance. (not too bad in light snow either!) wear life is exellent value as well. very quiet. EXELLENT in panic situations :)

Weakness:

tires tend to plow quickly only in heavy understeer. even though mine are 60 series, they ride like a buckboard--harder than usual compound (performance trade off, i guess). very harsh ride when they have been sitting awile (especially in the cold, they never warm up to operating temp's). their warranty, unfortunately, void's once it's on a small truck...that's a BIG disappointment (but they're all like that)

these tires retail surprisingly fair, considering what you get in return. i've never really heard anything bad about dunlop (compared to the competition). i am very pleased with them, they've NEVER let me down in the 30k miles i've had them. the only reason i have to buy more at half wear is the fact that 235/60 is too small for the truck. i would definately recommend them for cars, AND suggest them for smaller light trucks (eg. ranger) where a good tire is crucial for survival in these off-balance, light vehicles. it's too bad i hadn't tried dunlop's awile ago.

more to come on the replacement Dunlop Sport Rover (light truck performance 235/70's)...if they could only extend their warranty to the exploding population of light trucks...

i've tried many tires (abt. 4 sets) on my ranger splash, and i'm currently replacing them with more dunlops! the bfg radial t/a's are marshmallows compared to these. night and day! the firehawk's give these good head to head competition (i was pleased with these too), but their reputation is poor. the goodyears are more flashier than dunlops, but don't stand up to the wear.

Strength:

quiet ride

Weakness:

harsh ride. Rubber doesn't absorb road irregularities, cornering is very bad.

even tho the seller claims this to be a very comfortable tire, it is in fact very harsh when used on the street. It doesn't seem to absorb bumps in the street and all forces are transferred to the driver. This causes fatigue as well as anger and fustration. I first thought it was my car's suspension which was defective but after trading wheels with my friend, i found out that these tires suck like crap. The cornering is marginal as well. Even my dad skinny tires can out-turn my modified car.

They are good when making quick take offs or making sharp turns. They look good.

Weakness:

Dont improve breaking on slippery conditions. They wore VERY quickly.

Good tires but wore rather quickly. Great handling and made the car feel totally different.

Strength:

Very sticky tire, great looks, wicked cornering, just an awesome tire!

Weakness:

Wet braking can be tricky... only in panic situations though

Fantastic tire! Very impressed!! Cornering improved a ton, braking is good in panic situations. Tread design is nothing special or fancy, though it still looks tough and agressive.
