General Tire Ameri-GS60 Tires

DESCRIPTION

The Ameri-GS60 is General Tire's Standard Touring All-Season tire designed to combine quiet and easy handling with all-around performance for coupes, sedans and minivans. On the outside, Ameri-GS60 tires mold General Tire's latest compound technology into a tread design that features independent shoulder tread blocks and circumferential grooves to help resist hydroplaning and generate wet traction. A continuous center directional control rib and sequentially optimized tread pattern provide on-center steering feel & low noise.

After only about 10,000 miles, the tires began to cup, which produced a thumping noise similar to a tire with an embedded nail. I understand Buick had to replace many of these manufacture-equipped tires.
