    Weakness:

The only problem is they are very soft. Tread seems to be wearing fairly quickly.

I love these tires! I live in snow country.........the Keweenaw Penninsula in Upper Michigan and I needed a tire that would perform in deep snow and mud. I decided to buy a set of Wrangler AT/S tires because they looked like they had a very good tread and I loved the looks of them. I put them through the test during hunting season on some old logging roads and they passed with flying colors. Very rarely did I have to put my truck into four wheel drive. When winter finally arrived, I ended up pulling a couple of trucks out of ditches near my home town. I was absolutely amazed at the traction these tires gave me. Not once did my wheels spin. The tires just gripped on to the ice and pulled out the full size trucks like they were little toys! Excellent traction in all conditions!

best tire i had ever used in my life. i wanted an all round tire for snow, mild off road in my 2x4 dodge dakota. these tires got me through two christmas vacations driving in blinding snow storms with a foot of snow on the highway. could run the highway at 80 kms/h and feel confident. this is the biggest concern that i had with them when i purchased them and they worked. i have used the michelin arctic alpin on my trucks and they are amazing. the wrangler at/s is comparable. they are amazing on the highway with good feel and control. good tires.

    Strength:

Very good traction and a good looking tire. Most aggresive tire I can use since most of my driving is on the highway with just weekend hunting trips off the pavement. An excellent all around combination tire without sacrificing to much traction on mud or loosing to much performance on the pavement.

    Weakness:

Cost a lot but worth the price.

I have just traded my brand new goodyear rt/s tires for a new set of goodyear wrangler AT/S tires. I was unhappy with the traction of the RT/S tires. I did a test in the same mud hole with both tires one day apart. With the wrangler RT/S I pulled into the plowed wet field with standing water on it and stopped. I then tried to get going without using 4X4 drive. I was stuck IMMEDIATLY. I was just barley able to get going with 4X4 drive. I traded those tires and 200 bucks for my Goodyear Wrangler AT/S tires and went back to the same field for a straight up comparison of traction. I pulled into the field and stopped. I tried to get going and had absolutly no trouble at all getting out in just 2 wheel drive. I wasnt even spinning the tires much. It was a huge diffrence. I LOVE THESE TIRES. There was no noticable noise diffrence on the highway. These are 245/75/16inch tires. They perform the way a good traction tire should in mud. Dont know about the snow yet. Havnt had any so far this year. But I now feel like I am driving a four wheel drive truck that can go just about anywhere with the AT/S tires. Befor I would not even attempt to get into anything to nasty. This is an honest comparison and honest results.

    Strength:

excellent traction in wet weather. No more hydroplaning like you will find on the rt/s model. They look great, and seem to not wear.I've got 15,000 miles on them and I swear they still look new.Incredible.

    Weakness:

A bit noisier than they should be.

My Wrangler is light and used to hydroplane. Not anymore. The piece of mind alone makes it worth the switch.

    Similar Products Used:

Since I bought them the price has gone down and are about the same as the rt/s. This tire is seriously superior to that model. If it's a little more, buy them and have faith you did the right thing. The slow wear factor alone is the overall value you get from this tire.

    Strength:

Traction seems 100 times better than my previous tire.

    Weakness:

None yet, but who knows. It's only been 2000 miles.

I got the Wrangler AT/S as a replacement for the stock RT/S on my Jeep Wrangler SE. I have been only pleasantly surprised with this tire so far. No more fishtailing in the rain. No more kicking up dust in the AZ desert. All in all it is a 100% improvement over my old tires. After 2000 miles the tires still have the little string like pieces of rubber that hang off of the sidewall (from the manufacture); they have not rubbed off yet!!!

This tire is an excellent all-terrain tire. I use it on a 1990 ford f-150 4x4. The only downfalls are the price (about $150 per tire) and they do whine just a little on the interstate.

Excellent. Way better then all the other tires used( BFG, GENS, BRIG, MICH) Just a excellent tire. Love the aquachanneling affect in the rain. LOTS OF COMPLEMENTS and help giveing to others stuck of the road. Brought my truck from the frame deep in snow back up well pulling a hummer stuck in a snowbank.

Better than I would've thought for a bigger tire coming from an OEM tire on my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I ended up stuffing these tires on the factory rims in a 245/75/16 size. Pretty good all around. I would recommend them to a friend.
