These tires are as good as it gets if you drive hard and have a budget. I average about 11K miles out of a set of tires (any brand). I have tried Goodyear eagle, bridgestone potenza, ventus, and kumho 712. The 712 is the only comparable tire to the 711 but isnt worth the extra $100 a set. The 711s are perfect for AWD cars. BUY THESE TIRES

HANDLING Value Wear

Weakness:

Not the stickiest out there

The origin tires I was looking at were sold out so i decided to sacrafice myself for a cheaper alternative. Well let me tell you they by no means sacrifice preformance for the price. Although they aren't the stickest or best tires out there in dry conditions they are wonderful. They make little or no noise and to make the value better they wear very well. As for wet traction these are ok and i've experienced no trouble with my 225's but I also don't push hard in the rain.

Strength:

Dry handling when new. Switched lanes at 120 no prob. (coilovers though)

Weakness:

Wet handling----bad Snow traction---close to none Constant impact breaks (bubles on sidewall caused by rapture of the inner layer of sidewall) pretty dangerous

These tires should have never been made. They are "performance" tires but NOT Z RATED. What that means is that the sidewalls are thin & when you run into a pothole or take a railroad crossing too fast the tire is ruined. 2 of them have already been replaced now i need to replace 3 again due to bubles. At first it was a good deal but after all it came to be a lot more than inetial price. (i got 205/40r17). Hate em:(

Will let loose on hard corners or in the rain, but recover quickly.

Great tire. Excellent value. I use these on my Dakota R/T with 300RWHP and they hold the road real good. I've used 6 different tires on my truck and these are one of th ebst. Only tire I've used that I liked better were the BFG G-Force KDWS'. Real good wet wheather and even decent snow traction.

Strength:

stiff, double A temperature rating and A traction rating crazy looking tread style

Weakness:

we'll see IF ANY when rainy season hits LA

these tires are great, i got tantrum-style 17's for 90 a piece and then the kumho 711's for 55 a piece 650 out the door for 17's and 40 series , i thought, "wow" what a deal, and i started thinking about wear qualities and road noise , but constant illegally fast driving has shown me that these tires are great under "above normal" conditions such as hard cornering and consistent launches... nice stiffness, might be uncomfortable for the older folk, but its the stiffness i was going for. go kumho!

Strength:

Good ride & handling characteristics, aggressive looks, price price price!!!

Weakness:

Not as good as some tires....costing 3 times as much!

Excellent tires for the price, just as good or better than tires costing more, excellent roadholding in the dry under most conditions - adequate in the wet I paid $700 & change CDN for all 4 (225/45/17) installed and balanced. My next choice would''ve been almost twice as much. Even if I burn these up in two seasons (not likely, they seem to be waering well), I can purchase a second set for the price of one set of the Bridgestones I was looking at.

Strength:

Very quite and smooth ride, Price, Looks, Moderate handling

Weakness:

None

I just purchased the 205/40/17 version of these tires and so far I am pretty satisfied. Much better than the DUNLOP tires I had before. These tires give a much smoother ride and minimal noise. They don''t grip the road as well as the Dunlop''s I had and I still have yet to test their wet traction, but I love the smoothness and the quietness of these tires. You can''t beat the price either.

DUNLOP SP Sport W-10..These tires grip very well in dry conditions and in rain , but these tires are NOISY!! So noisy that I felt sometimes I would lose my hearing.
