I used to have Michelin MXV4, but tried this brand at my mechanic's recommendation, and it was a pleasant surprise. At almost half the price, I couldn't notice any difference. My Volvo has 330k miles now and so far I've had 3 sets of Kumho KH16, and I got at least 45k miles from each set. I live in NC and work in SC, and drive about 30,000 miles every year. Hadn't had any problems in torrential rains as long as I had some treads left.

Strength:

OK on dry pavement.

Weakness:

Unacceptable in snow/ice.
Poor on wet pavement.

I have used many different all season and snow tires in Buffalo, NY. These tires perform extremely poorly in snow or ice! They should be recalled!
DO NOT USE THESE TIRES!
