$114 plus mounting and balancing. Yes, probably the best performance all season tire.

Strength:

price, wet traction, responsiveness

Weakness:

noise, harsh ride

Overall a good all season performance tire. Replaced Goodyears on a Lexus SC400. Ride is a bit harsher, but traction and performance on par. Expecting better wet weather and longer life.

Strength:

Reasonably quiet on highway
Good treadwear for Z tire

Weakness:

TRACTION- blows!
Price-too much
Squeals so loud at low speed, its embarrasing turning at intersections.

Owning these tires has been unpleasant. The grip is horrendous. They came on the car I bought, and could be dried and old for all i know, but there is plenty of tread left. It screams around slow corners, and even squeaks in parking lots pulling into spaces. They slip under moderate downhill braking, causing ABS to go kick in, i'd say at 50% braking pressure. Tires break loose with launching my car at 4000 rpm, and this should not happen with 4wd. I am outcornered by a friends late 90 accord on stock tires, woe is me.

Nitto NT555 - HA! this tire is in another league, way better than the michelin
goodyear Eagle RSA-these suck too

Strength:

Great steering response and cornering. Great dry traction.

Weakness:

TERRIBLE in the wet. I cannot open the throttle even half way when it rains because it losses grip instantaneously. Not very quiet on the road but not that loud either. A bit pricey at $135 per tire.

Look nice, have a good name, m+s rating. I htought htese tires were going to be great tires for all season driving...i was wrong.

Similar Products Used:

Michelins best tire ever MXX3, goodyear rsa same problem as these, Pirelli supersport 7000 ok better overall than the V4 however i think the dry traction on the V4 might be better. The pirelli is quieter but the steering response is not the same as with the Michelin V4.

replaced original bf goodrich comp t/a's with these - better handling, better traction, MUCH better treadware. 1/2 way through the treadlife and already I've got more miles on them than the comp t/a's had for their entire life. Great tires for mustang/camero/firebird
