WOW! As soon as these tires were put on, my car looked better and rode much smoother. I like... I like a lot. Also, they were rather cheap. Thanks NITTO! ROCK ON!

THESE TIRES HAVE NO STRENGTHS THEY SUCK AND THEY ARE OVER PRICED GO OVER A BUMP WITH NITTOS AND I GUARANTEE A BUBBLE OR A EXPLODED TIRE.

Weakness:

THESE TIRE COME WEAK FROM THE FACTORY DO NOT BUY THEM ANYONE WHO BUYS THEM IS GETTING RIPPED OFF AND THEY ARE STUPID.

after having been through about six sets of Nitto tires Nt450 size 215 45 ZR 17 i must say that these tires suck. these tires get a bubble or explode for any reason. these tires are so bad that i guarantee if someone dirves their car everyday then they are going to need atleast one new tire every 7-9 months. these tires are overpriced and i feel that the Falkens that i bought took more punishment lasted longer and were about 20 dollars less per tire. NITTO TIRES IN MY OPINION SUCK THEIR TRACTION IS GOOD BUT WHEN IT COMES TO WEAR AND TEAR THEY GET A FAILING GRADE.

Strength:

Price is good at $70 a piece.

Weakness:

After 4 years, started getting noisier and lumpy feel. Make sure you get your wheels aligned and camber adjusted when you put ANY new wheels on. You'll save yourself $$ and headache later...

I actually had these tires close to 4 years!(205/40/16) It served me well. It's definitely more for summer than winter (no grip - so I used my stock wheels and tires during the cold months) I have 16" rims on my Integra and used it for autocrossing. My only gripe is that I installed my camber kits after the inside tire started wearing thin. When it was new it was noisy but after breaking it in it was ok. After 4 years, the noise is back and sounds more lumpy. I decided to purchase a new set. I liked the value and performance, but its rare - so I purchased new Dunlop FM901 205/45/16. I hope these are good we'll see...The Nitto 450 were good for the money, I just wish they would live longer.

Strength:

Excellent dry traction. Long tread life. Nice performance for the price.

Weakness:

I don't trust them in the rain.

Overall these are pretty good tires. Dry traction was great,by far the best I've had yet. I feel they have room for improvement in wet conditions though. Just a bit slicker than I like in the rain. It's time for a new set and I think I'll be switching back to the Firestone Firehawks for their rain capabilities.

I have these mounted on my stock rims and am very impressed. Alot better than the stock bridgestones. Great wet and dry traction, they grip very well in the corners, no road noise, and are affordable, what more could you ask for in a tire.

Great grip when driven properly

Weakness:

Not as good as paradas

All I have to say to all you nay sayers is you guys need to learn to pick right tires, sizes and learn to drive. I autocross my mr2, as well as drag and street race it and I am very happy with them so far. I have had yokohama a520s, 550s, paradas and these hold there own with the 520s and 550s. The paradas were just out of the world, but they come at a high price.

Causes whining in some users!

So far so good. I was hesitant to purchase these tires after reading a few of the online complaints, but they are running very nicely on my 2000 Maxima. I really can't understand how some of the other "reviewers" have posted such harsh comments about the tires. So far, they don't "suck" at all. Hey, maybe they'll randomly fly off my rims tomorrow and I'll be whining like some of the other people, but I seriously doubt it. If you want to buy a tire that makes your car go from point A to point B on regular roads at speeds under 150 mph, buy the tires. You'll feel good about saving a few bucks.

Dry cornering. Quiter than the Kumho 712's that I replaced them with (althought those handled much better). Longer tread wear than Kumhos

Weakness:

Soft sidewalls, and I hear that they have poor wet traction, yikes!

These tires are okay. It seems to be after reading the reviews that people with the faster and heavier cars seem to hate these tires. I have a slow/light weight car, and they are okay. It is starting to rain in this area so I soon will find out about wet traction. Dry traction seems to be very good, I have not been able to make them squeal. I push the car hard into the corners, but not as hard as I would if it was rear wheel drive. I will admit at hard cornering you can feel that the sidewalls are kinda weak.

Good dry traction off the line.

Weakness:

Wet traction Soft sidwall

The tire is a half decent tire that hooks up pretty good when dumped around 2800 RPM. Dry traction is alright, though cornering traction is not very good, because of the soft sidewall. Wet traction is horrible. I'm able to spin them all the way through 4th gear on a wet road.

Traction On Dry Pavement. Cost comapred to other brands.

Weakness:

Traction on wet pavement is so so. A lot better than stock though.

I have had these tires for about 13 months now. I had to replace the front 2 because of basically burning them off. I put about 18,000 miles on them though. Not too bad. The traction is great on dry pavement and cornering. My car is lowered with an Eibach Pro Kit and these tires are mounted on 18" Konig Verdicts. I personally love the tires. Friends that drive my car say traction and handeling is amazing as well. Next time I will probably buy the 555 just because I heard they were even better. Great tire. Very happy!
