Strength:

Excellent dry weather performance compared to Blizzaks, very good straight-line performance (accell. and braking). Also, I''ve had great experiences with Pirelli''s customer service dept, top notch!

Weakness:

Not very good laterally in snow and ice. Car felt very loose in the corners with these tires.

I like this tire allot. I drive allot of miles in the winter so all around performance is nec. considering we only get about 12 real bad slippery days a year. I sacrificed some snow and ice performance in exchange for better dry weather handling (I clobbered a dear with blizzaks on dry road because car wouldn''t manuever) and longer tire life. The tires are quiet and ride very well. I chose a narrow tire with a lower profile 195/50/15 so I wouldn''t get the sidewall flex. Overall a very good tire for an all-wheel drive car. I''m not sure I''d suggest it for a RWD or FWD if you need superior ice traction though
