Strength:

This tire is purported to be good in the rain. I don't drive my car in the rain, so I cannot say whether this claim is true. The cost of the tire is low in comparison to its competitors. http://folsompaintingcompany.com/

Weakness:

So far so good!

Strength:

Incredible grip, not as heat cycle sensitive as other R's, and long lasting. Seem to heat up quickly and only get greasy after some serious abuse. Can't really beat this level of bang for buck performance. Stiff sidewalls require much less air pressure, and in my case less negative camber was needed for proper heating and wear patterns compared to my street setup. Only other tire that seems to have the same level of bang for buck and longevity is the Toyo RA-1's.

Weakness:

Loud on the street. On the track you'll never hear it, but if you plan to street drive these tires, they seriously sound like mud boggers.

I bought a set shaved to 5/32"'s and heat cycled them myself. So far have 5 summer track days, 3 autoX's and probably can get another 3 track days out of them. Not as grippy as Hoosiers, v700's or Victoracers, but these tires seem to last about 3X as long and provide just slightly less primo grip.

Contisports and Kumho MX's, but this was my first R.

Strength:

Sticks like glue Nothing seems to beat it in terms of extreme handling

Weakness:

Short life expensive a bit weaker handling then Potenza 540s??

They are great!! simply just handle great, razor sharp handling. Seems like your are driving a Lambo suddenly~! But tire is a bit noisy, and short live. My Potenza 540S is somewhat better in handling. It has good rain traction too.

Strength:

Infinite grip, strong sidewall, flex risistant. 100/100 for performance.

Weakness:

a little noisy, tires r only good for 8k miles under moderate to hard driving at BEST. Drifting is no longer a posibility. But i plan on getting another set.

By far the best street legal tires arround. No others offer the almost infinite grip.

Strength:

Long lasting, high grip and wont leave your wallet in a state of ruin.

Weakness:

non that I have encountered in Drag Racing (street legal class)

Working for Discount Tire, I have found that short of all out racing tires such as hoosiers and drag et's, This tire has the best bang for the buck. Even at the retail price, it can outperform any other tire that I have used on my eclipse which include Paradas, S02s, S03s, and the new v700s. I am using 2x 205/50-HR16's that have been heat cycled and ridematched to less than 3lbs of force variation. Neither wheel called for more than .75oz of weight to either side. I am running the A032R's on Unique 83 black steel rims. On the quarter mile, they reduced my ET .52 seconds from a better hookup. (i previously ran V700s)

Strength:

Good dry & wet tires for performance street use. Well priced.

Weakness:

Noisey, Tire life.

The A032R provide excellent street use, dry and wet. They are excellent in my opinion for daily driving with an attitude. The advantages in my case was the avoidance of purchasing larger rims & tires to get better grip (I just use my factory 14) and providing a level of performance I am very happy with.

Strength:

The grip close to a full blown race tire, with much more tread.

Weakness:

None for its purpose.

This tire does exactly what it was meant to do. It is a great tire to have for racing. Its extra tread means it will last longer and also has the tread to negotiate rain. It's not great, but it will not force you off the road in a puddle, and it will allow you to race faster in rain. It is specifically made for racing so you need to get use to the inconveniences that can bring (like flat spots that take a few miles to get rid of, if you let the car sit, or having a harsher ride). They handle better than the A-008 and any other max performance tire Yokohama or others make. If you want a tire you can race on and be able to drive away and use for part of the summer on the street, GET THESE!

Strength:

Grip is fantastic. Make a little noise to let you know the limit is near. Let go smoothly when the limit is exceeded. Seem to wear well for an R compound tire.

Weakness:

Rough riding. Very noisy tread design, hums along noticably. Limited sizes.

I bought these tires for track only use, that get driven to-and-from events, because my SO2's were not up for the abuse. They do exactly what I expected. Very easy to drive. Stick like mad, and have very good turn-in and response. For a race type tire, they wear very well. Seem to be about 1/32" loss every event so far. They do wear out very quickly compared to street tires, but the price is so good, it really isn't a problem.

Strength:

These tires grip like crazy, and won't let go!

Weakness:

They wear quickly, and are a bit noisy.

I use these tires for three-season street use, plus an occasional autocross and track event. Frankly, I love them. They have competition-level grip AND can be driven at highway speeds in heavy rain.

Having these tires on my car makes it fun to drive. Their high level of stickiness has improved my cornering and acceleration abilities (relative to the Dunlop SP Sport 8000) while also improving wet-weather driveability (relative to Kumho V700 or BF Goodrich R1).

They are a bit noisy in my convertible, and they are about half-worn at 3,500 miles. Still, they are excellent tires and I would buy them again.

Strength:

The Yoko A032R is definitey not a street tire. You can drive it to and from the track but it's a track tire. As far as track tires go, it wears fairly well being good for at least six high speed track days and it's a good compromise for both wet and dry track conditions.

Weakness:

It's noisy, but on the track who cares.

Paid $154 each for a set from Discount Tire. You can use them under wet track conditions when most track tires are useless. They're great for lapping days and high performance driving schools.
