Model Reviewed: 1992 NSX

Strength:

Adjustability; (height adjustable coilover & and rebound) & progressive rate springs allow for good street manners and good track performance. Lighter weight than the OEM units it replaces.

Weakness:

price - it would be nice if it was under $2K.

I have only tried the system on an NSX so I can't speak for other cars, but IMO the system is very well balanced and is perfect for a dual purpose street/track car where you NEED to drive it to work and you WANT to drive it on the track and still have good performance levels in both areas. The weight is lower than the OEM units it replaces and the fit and finish is excellent. The true coilover design allows for height adjustment for gutter or tire clearance issues, and/or for fine tuning the corner balance of the car.

Disclaimer:

I liked it so much more than the other two products that bought and tried and mentioned above that I decided to stock it and sell it. (for the NSX only - don't bug me if you have something else)

I compared it to the Ground Control Street/Track dual spring Koni Sport Shock based kit and the Comptech Koni Aluminum race shock based Pro-Race kit as well as the usual mods of Bilstein shocks/Eibach Pro-Kit springs etc.

The HKS is a much better dual purpose setup with a much better ride on the street than either of the two setups above, and as good on track performance IMO. It costs ~$800.00 more than the GC, but ~ $2000.00 less than the CT.
