Bilstein Twintube Shocks Shocks

Bilstein Twintube Shocks Shocks

DESCRIPTION

Motorists these days expect consistently good vibration damping from a high-performance, top class car in all ride situations.Physical reasons prevent the pressureless, twin-tube shock absorber from meeting these needs. The flow of oil is substantially reduced by the fast up and down movements of the working piston. By adjusting the valves on the working piston, different pressures are created. The constant pressure changes lead to the creation of bubbles in the oil, and subsequent cavitation, when subjected to permanent load. The damping efficiency deteriorates, vehicle handling is impaired and ride comfort adversely is affected.

Strength:

It can fit anywhere which is great for the city. I spend maximum 40 dollars on gas a month at .92$ a liter. If you can get this car do it. Regardless of price, it will last you longer than any other car I know of! Easily out dues some pricy cars in the reliability area, looks aren't everything! Bakersfield Garage Service

Stand Out (painted yellow)... good reputation?

Weakness:

didn't do much for me EXPENSIVE!

I just switched to Bilstein shocks on my Honda Passport because I heard it causes the vehicle to ride a lot better. To be quite honest, I notice only a small difference in the ride quality. The handling is somewhat better, and the "nose dive" in braking is the same. This is a great truck but the Bilsteins didn't do a $450 inprovement in any department for me. Can't reccommend them

This is a GREAT stock replacement shock for any car. It's just a "little" firmer than the stock. Trust me on this one...it rides great!
