Strength:

Handling Ride Comfort Fully adjustable and easy Koni Reputation

Weakness:

Only the Price but I guess if you want something good, then get it.

I bought these shocks over 3 years ago in late-1999. I've never had any problems with them. They are definitely better than the stock shocks for sure. For those who say they don't like it because of some reasons. **You know shocks are for ride comfort not for you to speed over potholes and big dents in the road; and assume nothing will happen.** The Koni Sports definitely gets the job done if you want great handling and ride comfort. It's also very easy to adjust the settings.

Strength:

-Height adjustable -stiffness adjustable -Koni quality -looks real hot -handles amazingly well

Weakness:

-Instructions suck! -Mounting the brake line was difficult because you have to take the mounts off your stock shock

These shocks are amazing. I paired them with Eibach Pro-Kit Springs and the handling is great. I used to have Intrax springs on stock shocks and they dropped the car 2.25 in the front and 2.5 in the back forcing me to bottom out over everything! It pissed me off so much that I took them out and put in this new setup. My car is 1.75 in the front and 1.5 in the back and it handles like a dream. Softest setting is nice and smooth for highway driving, a full turn is good for spirited back road driving, 1 1/2 turns for autocrossing and 2 turns for road racing (never experienced it on a true course though).

Strength:

Improve road holding and handling, gives a very sporty feel. Great quality.

Weakness:

None.

Fit it to my 85 toyota starlet, and the car just transform itself. The handling and road-holding were in a totally different league altogather. The ride has suffered only a little, but still very bearable. Highly recommended.

Strength:

Really smooth when i counter-clocked half way. So good that i didn''t bother changing it. When i do hit the track I am sure i can keep up with the best of the imports now. No worries and I am sure my Eibach Prokits are only enhancing my ride. Next time around I will pay brand new and will have no doubts to what this product can offer.. PS, it says on the box that this product is produced for Porsches as well !!

Weakness:

I gotta cut the back cover ontop of the strut to access the the adjustability knob.

Konis Yellows: Now i didn''t pay new price on this product cause I wasn''t sure what to expect in lowering my ride. I am fairly picky and I have been disapointed in all my mods so far for $ vs performance. All bolt ons including intake, header and exhaust don''t give you 1/2 the satisfaction as i received when I lowered my ride. I did some shopping and KYB adjustables were my first route but the shop suggested i try this product and they just so happened to have one laying around. Lucky for me, this is the BEST thing ever to happen to my lude. I never ride fully clocked to rock-hard. It would be too hard on the back in our winter driven roads. I left it 1/2 way and it still out performed the stock suspension!!!

Strength:

Adjustability. Ride is exceptional...whether on the softest setting (close to stock ride) or the firmest (stiff but not at all uncomfortable)

Weakness:

Difficult to adjust height (I think they need to be out of the car to do the adjustment because the ring needs to be taken out of the slot and then raised or lowered). Adjusting the ride is not as easy. There is no feel just trial and error. No guide

AWESOME. I''ve had stocks with Neuspeed Race for 5 years. What a difference. Mine were actually the Koni Sports modified by Neuspeed (shorter body).

Weakness:

too hard to adjust, have to move the back seat and it has a wide range of adjustment. dont know if its even when i adjust so i just adjust to the loosest

koni yellows are supposely one of the top shocks. I dont really think that they are good, my ride is bouncy and i installed the springs at the same time. it wasnt even a low drop either
